Keith, I've observed that fascinating effect often enough for me to consider it a phenomenon in its own right, but all of the clearest recordings I've found remained exactly the same over the years, if not, became even clearer.1 -

I have thought about that exact point you made keith, regarding spirit being able to tamper with the recording after it was set in stone to make you realize they can effect it dropping different words from the original things you heard. Maybe thats the psychic component you refer too, or my mind processing different words from what i originally heard. There has been times when the actual static itself sounds like english words sounding different to the faint words below the noise that only i m hearing. The answers below the noise, I have noticed they generally appear directly after a question, not long after generally. This lead me to an idea that maybe they are drawing your energy while you were communicating, directly after, otherwise why answer straight away. I have tried not asking any questions and just recorded the raw data and listened afterwards, these experements did not produce the faint voices only i can hear, instead i got the odd robotic murmers which do sometimes sound like english sentances, but really hard to pin point exactly what they were saying. I think Russells approach using Audacity is what i need to do in the future. Baring in mind i do not experiment everyday, just every so often nowerdays. Thanks1 -

Try this on for size....have you ever gone back and listened to previous recordings, or a recording from the day before and heard something totally different? Thats an example of the psychic component coming into play. I've had people tell me spirit changed the recording, but i do not believe that to be the case. Keith1 -

Its funny you say that, i have had Audacity for years but never really went right in there scoping the frequency ranges out, i l have to check it, thanks for the info.1 -

Carefully adjusted noise filter software such as can be found on Audio Hijack or Audacity are essential. You would then hear all kinds of things. That was my single biggest breakthrough.1 -

Interesting topic. I have had the same problem on times. Using the germanium receptor over a course of 4 years on and off, sometimes after asking questions i can hear faint responses below the noise, not part of the noise no, below it. When i have asked freinds if they can hear it, they cannot. My theory is that maybe the brain filters out what it wants to hear and you are generating what you expect in the audio (imagination contamination), or as like what was said, spirit can manipulate the answers to you in which are only desighned for you to hear it, but one point i d like to add is, if it was transmitted to a mechanical device like a dictaphone, and upon playback the voice imprint is still there, below the noise, yet no one else can hear it, that is seperate from the brain, its on a recording device that only you are hearing. Another idea i pondered about was, maybe its like," practice makes perfect," as time passes and you are experimenting over years, your ears are becoming more finely tuned to a higher state without realizing it, thus others, when listening to what you can hear fail to pick up on it. brilliant discussion thanks for sharing this.1 -

Hi Keith! One have to hold the physical medium and their teams apart from the experience and phenomena. As your energy patterns is you are able to bridge. When the medium is of a lower self centered psyche that will be the type of spirits you can bridge. I was in one seance with Warren Caylor and he attract the ruffer kind, not evil but ruff . The conclusion is that this world is a very different place than we learn i school and what the general public thinks. From this I also make a very hard stance that the ones lying have lost their rights and we as individuals are universally sovereign beings on this planet. Me, Myself and I
Hi @Magnus house of Ossiansson and welcome! I see you have experienced enough physical mediumship to really have a good understanding of what it is. Consider yourself fortunate I've sat in 13 seances I think, across 4-5 physical mediums. Because of those experiences and the people involved, I no longer have interest in traditional physical mediumship though I do develop myself in that direction. Keith -
