  1. If only you believe in miracles… We could exist on a star… I know that love is the answer…. —from “Miracles,” by Jefferson Starship Paradox: Pure love from the source gets devised along its way to Earth, where it continues to shine at the center of everyone, while bristly sparks of earthy passions flare up around it… passions for worldly things like money, power, food, drugs, and sex. Years ago, when I gave presentations, I’d often play background music to capture a mood—Debussy’s Afternoon of a Faun for mystery and intrigue, Bach’s Air on a G String for relaxed inspiration, and so on. On one occasion I played Miracles by Jefferson Starship to set an upbeat mood of love and miracles that are at the center of robust ITC research (spirit communication enhanced by technology). I noticed some discomfort in the audience, and when I read the lyrics of the song later on, I discovered that the word “love” generally refers to sex. I’ll probably always love that song because it just sounds so good, but I began to wonder why sex is often misconstrued as love, why the subject of sex is often inappropriate, and how love got earthy in the first place. That’s what we’ll try to unravel today—how pure, enriching love that comes from the source and nourishes the vast cosmos gets devised in our world to become a mixture of pure love and earthier motivations like the sex drive (or like our passion for money, material possessions, good food, politics, crime dramas, and sports… including hunting and fishing where we actually kill other living things for pleasure.) The love paradox began to stir in my mind around the time I got involved in ITC and joined the new INIT group in 1995. My Luxembourg colleagues Jules and Maggy Harsch-Fischbach received a computer text from their spirit friends describing in vivid detail the paradise world (Eden or Marduk) where many people from Earth awaken after they die and soon find themselves in their same bodies, but healthy, pain-free, and at the prime of life. The computer contact included the following excerpt: “People here are very much like they were during their lifetime. Men and women have the same sexual needs as before their death. Since the average age here is 30 years and everybody knows that the sexual organs also serve other functions than reproduction, nobody should be surprised when I say that everything goes on as usual. However, here a woman does not get pregnant. You do not put away your sexuality, as it is a truly human characteristic. Sexual partnerships exist, provided both partners harmonize and desire it… We eat and drink like you do, but our food is produced synthetically. To put it another way, we more or less materialize physical food. The meat which some still enjoy here is only a reproduction of matter. No animal has to die for another being.” Reading that excerpt, my first thought was… Seriously? We can still enjoy feasting and sex in the afterlife? And that opened a Pandora’s box of other questions: Pure love emanates from the source and is gradually devised or changed through the various levels. When it reaches Terra, it’s radically devised by our brains, hormones, and DNA into more earthy motivations. Does everyone go to level 3 paradise after they die? No. People who overcome their earthy desires might awaken in finer levels, while people who hold onto passions that hurt themselves or others will find themselves in denser levels, for example, level 2 or Earth’s spiritual shadow at level 1. But apparently most people do awaken at level 3. Why don’t women get pregnant in the afterlife? Because reproduction, like eating, is a biological process that doesn’t apply to the spirit body. In the spirit worlds, presumably, living things are created and nourished by life-energy from the source. A human body at level 3 is a sort of energy template of the physical body at the prime of life. It’s sustained constantly by life-energy, so it doesn’t age, it doesn’t need to reproduce, and it doesn’t need other nourishment. Why do spirits at level 3 have sex, if not for reproduction? (And why do they eat, if not for nourishment?) We bring our pleasues along from Earth after a lifetime, and the level 3 paradise world—a stepping stone to finer levels—is a place where we can still enjoy earthy things like sex, eating, and (safe, pain-free) sports, but they’re no longer driven by the brain, DNA, and hormones, so there’s no intense competition and little drama at level 3, as people migrate into resonant communities and relationships. Ecstasy is a daily way of life, without the agony (which in the case of sex includes unwanted pregnancies, rape or assault, shame or guilt, lust, frustration, yearning, sexually transmitted disease, and so on). Are there gays at level 3? No doubt. After we die, we humans bring along to the afterlife the behaviors we love. As long as those things don’t harm other living things, they’re suitable for level 3. We continue to share our refined (causes-no-harm) love as we understand and feel it. Maggy Fischbach received a contact from George Cukor, a well-known gay Hollywood movie director who often brought flowers to his leading ladies and was known as “the Gentleman Director” (unlike the many Hollywood moguls who preyed upon pretty actresses). Thomas Edison and George Cukor in the Timestream sending station at level 3. Are there spiritual repercussions of abortion? No. A spirit enters the fetus as it’s developing in the mother’s womb, and if the fetus is terminated before birth, the spirit simply moves on to a new adventure. He or she will have little or no recollection of the event… as our spirit friends explained: “Abortion is not a topic of importance here anymore as it is on Earth. Here the emotions and feelings of guilt that arose on Earth about abortion no longer play a role. One of the women who had an abortion on Earth met the youngster who would have developed out of the aborted fetus and grown into a young man on Earth. The fellow did not know the young woman (his mother) who stood in front of him. Neither did he understand the emotions she felt when she saw him face to face. He knew nothing about the problems she’d dealt with when making her decision on Earth. The short stay in the physical world inside the female’s body left no memories in his mind. He was now enjoying his existence and had found his way. Only now did the woman realize that nobody was bearing a grudge against her. Nobody in her new life was judging her, and she managed to free herself from her feelings of guilt.” What happens to babies and children who die? Typically they too awaken at level 3, where loving caretakers raise them in an accelerated growth process to adulthood, as explained by our spirit friends: “When wounded children (and grownups) arrive here they are being bedded in tubs filled with healing waters. It is not easy work. The wounds have to be treated and their bodies have to be washed. Amputated limbs regrow within a short time and the sick tissue regenerates itself… they soon forget what happened to them and play happily with the other children.” (read more… ) How Pure Love Is Devised into Earthy Motivations Like Sex As mentioned in the above diagram, pure love from the source is gradually devised on its way to Earth, where suddenly it’s radically devised by our brains, hormones, and DNA into earthy passions like sex. During a lifetime we still have pure love shining as an inner light at the center of our being, but it’s largely obscured by the dramas going on around us that stir up our hormones and passions. We can mitigate the effects of Earth’s drama when we dedicate ourselves to practices like prayer and meditation, but the earthy passions never go away completely as long as our spirit is confined to the physical body. Even after we shed the physical body at the end of a lifetime, the deeply ingrained patterns of drama and passion still exist in our spirit body for a while, but their intensity is gone. Essentially, if we’ve lived our life in a kind way, without causing intentional harm to the people and other living things around us, we’ll almost certainly awaken at level 3, where we can resume our pleasures under paradise conditions. These earthy pleasures become less important to us as we prepare to ascend to finer realms. Or, we might choose to reincarnate quickly into another lifetime on Earth to resume the drama and passion. Our spirit decides what’s appropriate for our timeless soul plan. # # # For a more in-depth look at the spiritual aspects of sex, romance, and the love paradox, you can reread an article I wrote a couple of years ago in the Worlds Within Worlds series, which contains links to rich resources by people who’ve devoted their careers to the subject.
  2. A discussion between Mike Merable and Jurgen Ziewe, two out of body travelers who venture into regions you may encounter after you transition from physical life, what some call death. Some of these are the areas reported in Near Death Experiences. We say have a better life, because life continues, and the moment you die to this reality you will find yourself in another one. Between them Mike and Jurgen have over 75 years OBE experiences to talk about. This episode: Can we really create animated thought forms which are indistinguishable from real human beings? The evidence via independent reporting suggests yes, although they reliant for maintenance on their creator. Complete Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... They go into much greater depth and detail than it is possible in these short videos: http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/jurgenz Please visit the website for more information: http://www.multidimensionalman.com Mike Marable is a California based writer and explorer who has been traveling in other realities and timelines since 1987 after having what he came to understand as a spontaneous kundalini opening that continued for about 12 years. He had to figure out how to navigate the changes in consciousness while starting and operating a healthcare technology company and two nonprofit organizations. His main focus is helping people who have extraordinary experiences live comfortably with a foot in both worlds. Part of this is recognizing that the human experience is an extension of life on either side of what we call physical existence. For more on Mike and his work/writing visit www.mikemarable.com

  6. If I may, I would like to back up Andre’s replies, ALF, and Andres. Lower entities will, from my research, enter quickly when we have not protected ourselves. I have not ever encountered such behaviour. One only has to listen to some of the inappropriate goadings of spirit that humans engage in and hear the resultant rude, swearing and downright nil respect from both sides displayed on YouTube. Of course, I am not implying or saying that is what you were doing. Communicating with spirit needs to be very respectful and reverential; otherwise, chaos will rule. They are more like the naughty kids in the classroom, but one needs to accept that some live for whatever reason in the lower level of the astral. We know that higher spirit workers help some in the lower astral and are always there to help them. However, they must want to change. Armed with that knowledge and the knowledge that transitioning to the next part of our journey does not mean we know everything. It has been said before and needs to be remembered that we are no different the day after we transition to the day before we transitioned. This is the reason we are solid on recommending protection. Andres has mentioned this, but I would like to take it one step further and give some ideas on protecting yourself in your dealings with spirit. It is more a just in case you are unaware of some ideas to do centring/grounding and create the sacred space. The first thing to know is that your guides/spirit team will not interrupt unless you ask them to intervene. Before you go into a “session”, it is most wise to sit in silence and ground yourself. This can be done in many ways, from meditation, moving through your body and cleansing. Some people like to go through their chakras to highly structured but meaningful rituals. When you sit in silence before you start, make it known that you would appreciate your team’s presence and will shortly be moving into your “activity”. You may smudge with sage, have an uplifting mantra, or any ways to protect yourself. However, it would be best if you always asked for “only those who communicate with you to do so for the highest good”. Before doing any recordings or any work with spirit, we suggest you open and close the “portal”. Should any untoward vocalisations occur, you may ask your spirit team to remove them. They cannot do it without your asking as we have free will, and they protect that, or you may choose to shut the session down. I am taking the following from Student Handouts of an EVP course I used to run. EVP Safety Remember you are energy working with energy NEVER do EVPs when you are depressed or low in mood NEVER do EVPs if you are feeling fearful If you have imbibed in alcohol or drugs To the point where it is becoming an obsession, isolating you, or other negative behaviours Hold only positive thoughts, attitudes, and loving feelings. Communication with those in spirit is a serious, loving exchange of energy. There is no room for sensationalists and troublemaking persons seeking souls with mischievous intent. Set standards, do not permit swearing, and always conduct your sessions with respectful reverence for the process. Though I have never experienced negative behaviours such as swearing, name-calling, or being told to do things, I understand that can happen. It would be best if you remembered that you are in control at all times. Do not do something /anything because an entity told you to do something. If you begin to feel uncomfortable, stop recording, ask the entity to leave, and ask for assistance from your guides. Remember to do your finished grounding exercise and your thankfulness prayer to all who were helpful. It is important to remember that what you give, you get, so I cannot state enough the importance of your thoughts and your intent, and to be respectful and grateful. General Overview When doing EVPs, there is an overall process, I guess that is what one would call it, that has three stages 1) Preparing for the session, 2) Session, and 3) Post Session. Preparing for the Session Create an atmosphere – it is essential when communicating with those in the spirit realm that one has as positive, happy outlook as possible. There should be no disharmony in yourself; your thoughts should be free from negativity, confusion, anger or other negative emotions. You need to realise that those who are successful with EVPs prepare themselves many hours before the “event”. Having a light meal beforehand is recommended; a heavy meal makes one tired, and no meal is as distracting as one can get hungry. Energy is wasted with the two extremes. A definite no-no is alcohol or drugs. Spend your time before each session carefully, directing your thoughts to the person you wish to communicate with. Although, this does not guarantee that the person you want to make contact with is the person who will come through. You cannot demand or command those in the spirit realm. You will increase your chances by speaking as if you were planning with both on the earthside. Be aware that this whole process is not instant. Many factors contribute to the success of EVPs. Some of these factors are your learning a new skill, developing EVP hearing ears, the capabilities of the people in spirit, what the person in spirit is doing, willingness to communicate, the relationship, and atmospheric conditions to name a few variables. There may be many more, which is why we suggest you document them. (Elsewhere on the site, we are looking for input from you, our members, into what can be included in EVP documentation.) Some people believe that EVPs should be at a set time, e.g. 3 am Monday and Friday and that it is not to be deviated from for any reason. I can only give my personal opinion. I do not think it matters. I find I have better results if I do my EVP not long after waking; however, as far as I am aware, there is little data to indicate that a set time works better than any time. (This is another reason we are looking for a structural document for people to use. We can pin down what works for us better) Ham radio operators, for instance, favour the 3-7 am time. It is up to you, and to some degree, to those in the spirit realm. Your respectful intent is the most critical aspect, not time. The Session This is our actual recording. Start every session with three things called the three Ps. Protection, prayer and permission. That is pretty self-explanatory. Protection Methods Each session begins with a grounding exercise that formulates your protection. There are many grounding exercises. The one I use is to visualise a shaft of pure white light coming to me from the cosmos and entering through my head, circulating my body, sweeping each part of my body and then the light proceeds to the earth’s core. I then have the white light come up from the centre of the earth through my body again and exit to continue to the cosmos. Some people allow the white light to exit them from their fingers and feet, but I like the shaft of light to come down and go back the same way. You do whatever grounding exercise is proper for you. A walk-in silence in nature, focusing on your breath, is also a great way to get grounded. Okay, that is your protection p covered. Prayer This part of our session is to say a prayer. Prayer is simply a true, dedicated statement of intent not meant in the religious sense, but it is integral to setting the respectful intention. It is the time and place to thank all guides in advance to include anything important to you. Your prayer is where you put what you are doing out and ask respectfully for a successful outcome. Everyone has different prayers, but you are mostly demonstrating respect and formally beginning the session. Permission It is important to remember to be respectful with clear intent and create an atmosphere conducive to good outcomes. You cannot demand or command anyone in the realm of the spirit, so of course, you need permission. You can set the intent by saying who you are and whom you would like to communicate with and asking if that person is available. Express your gratitude frequently. Post Session It is vital to close the session formally. You need to finish with a prayer of thanks, of gratitude and do your grounding exercise again. Journal your experience, the experience, and any factors you think may impact the session. Journal also your mood. Then you should completely clear your work area, wipe the desk and then reposition yourself for whatever you do in that area. For example, I would put away any papers. Move my monitor and clean under my keyboard and the rest of the table. Wiping is primarily symbolic, but it signifies the session is over for you and those in the spirit realm. Closing down is as important as an opening. You do not want any hitchhikers coming in on an open channel. I appreciate this is a long answer, but we have many people at various stages of interaction. When I was asked to develop a training program, I found very little written on ethics and protection. I trust members will find my response useful, and do please add any of your ideas or indeed what do you do before working with spirit.
  7. Yes indeed it is a pity so few know of this whole world of communication with those who have stepped through the door on the way to the next part of their journey. We are so glad that you have found him. He epitomises for me the work of a truly spiritual man. It was very important for us to thank him so that he knew he was appreciated. We tend to forget that our days here are limited and thank you is such a small word but with huge meaning.
  8. Any ritual prior to experiment. For instance one may meditate prior to an experiment, one may be prayerful, one may do nothing special. When it comes to environment this comes up frequently in sessions with spirit that the environment around the earth creates issues for spirit. I have now heard this from a number of sources. In general the fear emotions, the aggressiveness and the physical and prolific "energy" from our media all play a part. I tend to think of this as I recall a ham radio operator telling me when I was a little girl that the early hours of the morning were best for communication for him to receive. Later on I studied Steiner more particularly the interest was in biodynamic farming which of course is very tied to the waxing/waning moon and the ether of these times indicate the action the "farmer" needs to take. I would not have thought that environment was important but in my own experiments I have found it to be so. My environment (my state of health physical/mental) also plays a role. Whether this is necessary to have as a component greater minds than mine would I should think have more developed thinking.

  12. Living on Earth has its nice moments, like peaceful walks along the beach, and its awful moments—shark attacks, tidal waves, assaults…. Daily life can be a wild ride with lots of ups and downs that can stir up our emotions. Typically… When it’s calm and safe we experience awe, trust, empathy, and other nice emotions. We relax and feel vital. When it’s violent and dangerous we feel fear, suspicion, and self-preservation. We panic and feel vulnerable. This article takes a close look at our emotions: What they are, and What to do about them. What exactly are emotions? Nowadays there are three popular ways to address that question (you can follow the links for details): Scientifically, emotions are products of our body (with its hormones, its DNA, and especially its brain), Psychologically, emotions are products of our body and its mind (or consciousness, which is like the brain’s software), and Spiritually, emotions are products of both our mind or (spirit, which is the real, indestructible you and me that lives forever) and our brain-driven body (which is just our mind’s meaty, makeshift earthsuit for this lifetime). This article looks at #3—our immortal mind interacting with our mortal body and brain. That interplay between the timeless, cosmic mind (or spirit) and the fleeting, earthbound body, I believe, is where we’ll find most of the answers to the mystery of emotions. Essentially, the body and spirit live in two different realities. The body is built for stressful living on Earth with all its drama, especially contending with the predatory, parasitic, and competitive relationships among living things, including us humans. The spirit lives concurrently in various spirit realms associated with Earth (as depicted below)—most of them with very little stress and drama. The mind or spirit has been assigned* to stressful Earth for this short lifetime. *The “assignment” is typically made, before we’re born, by our finer spiritual self working with other higher beings as they assess our karma and soul plan in relation to the higher plan for Earth. It makes sense, then, that… our subtle spirit (the “real” you and me) can get bewildered during its lifetime on Earth, which is about the only place in the vast cosmos for stressful encounters with predators, parasites, and competitors… and our dense body-brain can be similarly perplexed while trying to reconcile all of life’s “normal” drama and suffering on Earth with the inherent cosmic goodness that it feels shining deep within. The disparity between body (stressful under its normal conditions) and spirit (comparatively stress-free under its normal conditions) seems to be what causes emotions. In which case, the general rule is: When our body resonates and blends with our finer spirit (in times of low drama, low stress), we feel positive emotions. When our body bristles with and deviates from our finer spirit (in times of high drama, high stress), we feel negative emotions. So that’s a simple explanation of what (I believe) emotions are and why they happen. Now let’s take a closer look to see if it makes sense. How Body and Spirit Blend or Bristle Everything that’s right and good is embodied in the pure life-energy (or source light) that radiates from the center of everyone and everything, as suggested in this pulled-apart diagram of a person. That seems to be the simple truth at work throughout the cosmos: All is connected to the source. All is good. “Bad” things only happen when the inner light is blocked or ignored—when our connection to the source is compromised—which happens a lot here on Terra. That’s when life in this wild world gets painful. Or as Cat Stevens says, it’s when “a lot of nice things turn bad out there.” This is how I believe it works. First and foremost, we get a steady stream of life-energy from the source, which creates and nourishes the entire cosmos with vitality and wonderful, positive motivations. As the pulled-apart diagram suggests, however: Only a small amount of pure (non-vibrating) life-energy trickles directly from the source into us physical humans. That non-vibrating inner light from the source has infinite creative and transformative potential, but most of it streams directly from the source into the finest realms at levels 7 and 6, where it’s transduced or changed (or devised) and passed along (or delivered out-beyond) to lower levels. The life-energy continues to get devised and passed down the line, through our many spirit bodies (levels of the mind), before it reaches us. The devised life-energy takes many forms and goes by a lot of names—chi, prana, holy spirit, shakti, kundalini, subtle energy… which science is only beginning to explore. The rich bundle of devised life-energy coming to Earth carries a lot of positive motivations and attitudes from the finer spirit realms at levels 3-7. Though it’s not as powerful as the pure life-energy that comes directly from the source, this devised life-energy generally shapes our lives in wonderful ways. We can receive a bit more of the pure, powerful, non-vibrating life-energy directly from the source by practicing techniques like meditation, in which we foster conscious contact with the source, as explained at the end of the article. Fostering conscious contact also filters and refines the devised life-energy we receive from the various levels. Second and at the same time, we live out on the fringes of the cosmos, on a material world where life has evolved in a dramatic, stressful fashion. Our bodies are designed to survive and to try to flourish amid the drama. That’s evident in the structure of our brain and the effects of our hormones and DNA. We’re built to handle stress and drama, for example with our response to fear… in which we typically “fight, flee, freeze, flag, or faint.” (Try to say that three time. 's) So, again, it’s the disparity between our peaceful spirit and our roughhouse body that seems to be at the root of our emotions. Here’s a helpful list of familiar emotions that we humans experience from day to day. Positive emotions (when body and spirit blend) are on the left. Stressful emotions (when body and spirit bristle) are on the right. What To Do with Our Emotions Well, that depends on our gender, since men and women usually deal with their emotions differently, and women typically sparkle more in that area. (read more about that… ) Still, learning to deal appropriately with our emotions can benefit us all. Here’s a snapshot of how to deal effectively with our emotions, according to psychologists in recent years: Get familiar with them: Be aware of how you’re feeling, accept all of your emotions, know when it’s appropriate to share your feelings, don’t repress them but regulate them and, if it helps, take a deep breath, give yourself some space, and keep a mood journal. Manage them: Be aware of triggers, physical symptoms, and the stories you tell yourself about yourself; do positive self-talk; decide how to respond to trigger situations; focus on positive emotions; and find a therapist. Manage stress: Read, listen to music, listen to calming nature sounds, take walks in nature, do yoga, bathe, rest in silence, light scented candles. Recognize signs of emotional suffering: Personality changes, anger or anxiety, withdrawal from people, poor self-care, and a sense of hopelessness or worthlessness. That can all be explored in much greater depth in this Healthline article, which contains links to many other fine articles about emotions. But by far the most important and most effective technique for handling emotions and stress is often overlooked. It involves getting in touch with the inner light that shines at the center of everything. Making Conscious Contact with the Source Every body in the cosmos (every galaxy, every world, every entity) has that state of perfect bliss and complete knowledge at the center of its being. The source creates and nourishes everything with its life-energy. Bright beings throughout the cosmos all share one underlying yearning—to return to oneness with the source. We humans can mitigate the stress and drama of living on roughshod Terra by sharing that yearning and by taking steps to make conscious contact with the source. I’ve explained some good techniques for making conscious contact in various articles, most recently and most concisely here…. Through meditation and by knowing the truth (that we’re all connected to the oneness), we can be instruments for the source and bring its light into the world. In fact, from a cosmic perspective, that’s our job, first and foremost.

  14. Twentieth Century Psychic and Medical Clairvoyant Edgar Cayce (pronounced Kay-Cee, 1877-1945) has been called the "sleeping prophet," the "father of holistic medicine," and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce gave psychic "readings" to thousands of seekers while in an unconscious state, diagnosing illnesses and revealing lives lived in the past and prophecies yet to come. But who, exactly, was Edgar Cayce? Cayce was born on a farm in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, in 1877, and his psychic abilities began to appear as early as his childhood. He was able to see and talk to his late grandfather's spirit, and often played with "imaginary friends" whom he said were spirits on the other side. He also displayed an uncanny ability to memorize the pages of a book simply by sleeping on it. These gifts labeled the young Cayce as strange, but all Cayce really wanted was to help others, especially children. Later in life, Cayce would find that he had the ability to put himself into a sleep-like state by lying down on a couch, closing his eyes, and folding his hands over his stomach. In this state of relaxation and meditation, he was able to place his mind in contact with all time and space — the universal consciousness, also known as the super-conscious mind. From there, he could respond to questions as broad as, "What are the secrets of the universe?" and "What is my purpose in life?" to as specific as, "What can I do to help my arthritis?" and "How were the pyramids of Egypt built? His responses to these questions came to be called "readings," and their insights offer practical help and advice to individuals even today. Many people are surprised to learn that Edgar Cayce was a devoted churchgoer and Sunday school teacher. At a young age, Cayce vowed to read the Bible for every year of his life, and at the time of his death in 1945, he had accomplished this task. Perhaps the readings said it best, when asked how to become psychic, Cayce’s advice was to become more spiritual. Tools for Wellness, Spiritual Growth, and Personal Empowerment Although Cayce died more than 60 years ago, the timeliness of the material in the readings — with subjects like discovering your mission in life, developing your intuition, exploring ancient mysteries, and taking responsibility for your health — is evidenced by the hundreds of books that have been written on the various aspects of this work as well as the dozen or so titles focusing on Cayce's life itself. Together, these books contain information so valuable that even Edgar Cayce himself might have hesitated to predict their impact on the contemporary world. In 1945, the year of his passing, who could have known that terms such as "meditation," "spiritual growth," "auras," "soul mates," and "holistic health" would become household words? The majority of Edgar Cayce's readings deal with holistic health and the treatment of illness. As it was at the time Cayce was giving readings, still today, individuals from all walks of life and belief receive physical relief from illnesses or ailments through information given in the readings — some readings were given as far back as 100 years ago! Yet, although best known for this material, the sleeping Cayce did not seem to be limited to concerns about the physical body. In fact, in their entirety, the readings discuss an astonishing 10,000 different topics. This vast array of subject matter can be narrowed down into a smaller group of topics that, when compiled together, deal with the following five categories: (1) Health-Related Information; (2) Philosophy and Reincarnation; (3) Dreams and Dream Interpretation; (4) ESP and Psychic Phenomena; and (5) Spiritual Growth, Meditation, and Prayer. Further details of Cayce's life and work are explored in the classic book, There Is a River (1942), by Thomas Sugrue, available in hardback, paperback, or audio book versions. Members of Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.), the nonprofit founded by Cayce in 1931, have access to the entire set of 14,306 readings in a database residing online in our members-only section. 15. Lilian Bailey was born in Cardiff, Wales and moved to London with her parents when she was nine years old. She had some psychic experiences as a child, but it wasn’t until after her mother’s death that eighteen-year-old Lilian was told by a medium that she had a psychic gift. Unfortunately, World War I intervened. Lilian went to France as secretary to the Director of Transportation. After the war, she married William Bailey, and they settled in Crewe. She gave birth to their only child, Dorothy Elizabeth, a year later. When Dorothy was just an infant, Lilian discovered a book at the library entitled, Raymond or Life and Death by Sir Oliver J. Lodge. This peeked her curiosity and she read other works. In one book, William Hope, a psychic photographer was referenced. He also lived in Crewe and she met with him to see if he could produce a spirit photograph of her dead mother. William introduced Lilian to a Spiritualist church in town where she attended open circles. During her first sitting, she went into trance for over an hour. This frightened her and she refused to do it again. With the help of a Mr. Hope and Mrs. Buxton, Lilian learned to overcome her fear of trance and connected with a spirit guide named Wootton who had been an English military officer. Lilian’s husband was skeptical and thought Wootton might be part of her imagination until the spirit spoke though another medium, Helen Duncan. Through Helen, he gave his full name, William Hedley Wootton, and gave enough details that Lilian was able to confirm his service with the War Office records. Lilian’s public career began in the 1930’s. She traveled by train to Manchester twice a week to give group séances, private sittings and public demonstrations. She became one of the most accomplished trance mediums in Britain, comparable to Helen Hughes, Bertha Harris, and Estelle Roberts. In 1941, she toured the country with Maurice Barbanell. Gordon Adams, Lilian’s son-in-law, told Roy Stemman, “My mother-in-law had dealings with all sorts of people, such as the Chinese leader Chiang Kai-shek and the King of Greece. So, she did not feel intimidated by royalty; it was all in a day’s work for her.” In the 1950s, Lilian first visited Lionel Logue, King George VI’s speech therapist, and received messages which were passed on to the king. After King George’s death, Lilian received a request to give a séance at a house in Kensington in 1953. She was blindfolded and taken by limousine to the residence. As usual, she went into trance and allowed Wootton to deliver messages. It wasn’t until the end, when the blindfold was removed, that she found the Queen Mother, the Queen, Prince Philip, Princess Margaret, Princess Alexandra and the Duke of Kent sitting in the séance circle. Lilian was sworn to secrecy and did not discuss the seance with anyone outside the family until her death in 1971. Additional Reading: Aaron, Marjorie (2016) Lilian Bailey: The Tapestry of Life. 16. This is a rare recording of a special Christmas séance, where gifts and toys are placed beneath a decorated Christmas tree for any spirit children who might wish to play with them. A group of twenty-six sitters are in attendance who join along with the proceedings. This is more than an ordinary voice séance, because the sitters are able to experience physical phenomena, when items in the room are moved around by the spirit children. The recording begins with the sound of everyone singing old hymns, until the sitters hear the sound of something hitting a wall in the room. After some discussion, everyone listens intently for any other sounds in the darkness... Christmas séance report - by George Cranley First published online in December 2013 Over twenty invited guests attended on this occasion. There was a decorated tree with gifts brought by the guests at the séance for the children in spirit. The children would describe and take the etheric counterpart of the toy they wanted. After the séance was over the actual toys would be taken to the children’s ward at the local hospital. The séance opened with the singing of ‘Silent Night’, followed by ‘Jingle Bells’. Very quickly the spirit activity began. Fragile decorations from the Christmas tree were bounced off the walls, yet none were broken! A box of toffees was opened with various people announcing that a toffee had been placed on their lap. I asked why I hadn’t been given a toffee and immediately, two landed in my lap - even though I was seated four rows back and the room was pitch-black. Both adult and child spirit communicators spoke during the course of the séance. Maurice Chevalier, who passed over in 1972, gave a short talk. Nellie Klute, a theatre programme seller who passed in 1917, communicated, and when asked by medium Jessie Nason how she was, Nellie replied, “I’ll live. And you?” Among the spirit children who spoke were Doris, Robert, Daisy, Peter, Pat and Ian; each with their own distinctive personality, all interspersed with comments and asides from Mickey, the cockney guide of Leslie Flint. At the same time as the children were selecting their toys, a little toy piano or drum would be played. As two children argued over a particular toy Mickey would break in saying “Ere, pack it in you two” so that three voices would be heard simultaneously. Not only were these voices different, but various accents such as Scottish and American were spoken. The spirit children would request us to sing a particular song and [they] would often sing along. After the séance was over and the lights went on, we found that the Christmas tree had almost been stripped of its decorations, an empty box of toffees lay beside it and the various parcels, although unopened, were in a state of disarray. It is almost impossible to convey in words the atmosphere of joy, delight, humour, excitement and expectation that was present at these Christmas séances. My thanks go to Leslie Flint and his spirit helpers who helped to make these such memorable séances.” You may listen to the seance here: https://leslieflint.com/christmas-tree-seances
  17. Christmas séance 1973 Recorded: December 16th 1973 This Christmas séance was conducted in the presence of fifty invited sitters, gathered at Leslie Flint's basement home in Westbourne Terrace, London. Christmas séances have a decorated tree placed in the séance room and gifts are left for any spirit children who might wish to enjoy them. After the séance, the gifts are often donated to a children's charity or local hospice, along with any money raised. In this recording the voices of various spirit children can be heard, also the sounds made as they open gifts and play with toys, left for them beneath the Christmas tree. The recording is introduced by Bram Rogers and can be heard here: https://leslieflint.com/christmas-tree-seances Sitters include: Vivian, Jessie Nason, Burt Billinghurst, Renie, Jim Ellis, Bram Rogers, Leslie Flint. Communicators include: Mickey, Doris, Martin, Brion, Patricia, Dzabo, Dr Charles Marshall. and a detailed summary of this 97-minute recording is provided below. Summary: While some are singing, other sitters point out different sounds heard in the darkened séance room. Leslie calls out for Mickey and the spirit children to join them. After a break in the recording the sitters are heard singing Christmas songs and we hear the toys squeaking and shuffling around. Mickey greets Jessie Nason and the other sitters and Bram and Leslie share a joke. While singing to enhance the vibrations, some toys are moved around the floor and the sitters applaud. Mickey speaks to Jessie again, then he suggests a song for everyone to sing - and he joins in very loudly at the end. Mickey shares a joke about cars powered by ectoplasm and Bram points out a luminous toy in the room, which is moving around. After some whispering, a toy is heard banging and Mickey makes a joke of it. He advises the sitters begin singing again and a toy horn is heard. Toys are thrown around and a toy harmonica is played and the sitters share a joke. Mickey and Jessie discuss physical mediumship, a child’s voice is heard, then a Christmas cracker is pulled - which shocks Leslie. The sitters respond to activity and noises around the Christmas tree and whispering voices can be heard. A young spirit child named Doris begins to communicate. She talks first about her doll, then tells the sitters that she died together with her parents and the baby. Doris says her mother has accompanied her today, along with a lady wearing a white dress and tiara - who Doris thinks looks like a fairy-tale character in a book she once had on Earth. Doris talks of her continuing education in the spirit world and about her family, then asks if she can take away a doll or a game for her friends… Mickey returns and the harmonica is played, the sitters begin to sing and Mickey sings along. A non-English voice tries to speak, the harmonica and the sound of rustling paper is heard and Mickey jokes about a toy doll. A toy xylophone is heard playing and the sitters laugh loudly as spirit children touch them and move items around the room. A child is heard laughing, then Mickey hands a doll to one of the sitters. Much noise is heard as spirit children play with the toys in the room. A spirit boy named Martin speaks to the sitters about his family and his memories of London. He talks about his pet dog named ‘sausage’ and says he wants to find a medium so he can work like Mickey. Mickey jokes about a child communicator named Brion, who speaks about the donated toys and beautiful Christmas tree. She recalls her school days and her love of the piano, then plays the xylophone in time to the sitter’s singing. After a break in the recording, Mickey responds to a question about time being an illusion and spiritual progression. He speaks to one sitter about Scottish bagpipes and tells another that his wife is close to him. The sitters sing again and are amazed when toffees and chocolates are handed to them in the dark. After more activity from the spirit children, a child named Patricia asks Mickey for help with the toys. She speaks to Jim Ellis about her Earth life in Canada and the USA, then reveals she once lived in Arkansas (pronounced Ar-kan-zas until the 1880s). Patricia’s friend communicates, then the voice of Dzabo is heard briefly. The familiar voice of Dr Charles Marshall explains how the séance was made possible by the combined effort of all present - and he describes in detail how the power of the spirit within, can be called upon to bring forth miracles. Mickey says farewell to all and the recording ends. This summary was created for the Trust by K. Jackson-Barnes in December 2018. 18. recorded in 1992 Leslie Flint gives a talk on the spirit voices Leslie speaks to an audience about his first ever spirit message, the need for scepticism in mediumship, and the first spirit appearance of Rudolph Valentino... This 10-minute video, retrieved from an old VHS recording, is an extract of a rare public appearance given by Leslie Flint in 1992. Recorded by Ernie Massam at Seaford Spiritualist Church in East Sussex, and introduced by Sue Clements. Leslie speaks to the audience about his early experiences, the first time he witnessed a trance medium at work and his first ever spirit message. Leslie admits that scepticism is a necessary part of mediumship, especially for those who do not believe in spirit voices. Leslie also begins to explain how a persistent spirit helper,- described to him by many different mediums - first appeared in the guise of an Arab... 22. RSVP HERE for FREE That path of direct communication is available to anyone who earnestly seeks to deepen their connection with loved ones and other benevolent beings on the other side of the veil. If you’ve attempted it yourself, the first hurdle is contending with the obvious question: “What if I’m just making all this up?” Wouldn’t it be great to have a reliable approach to spiritual mediumship (a.k.a. channeling) that allows you to bypass the meddling influence of our miraculously analytical, survival-seeking, storytelling brain — and make verifiable contact with the other side? Yet, how do you validate it to yourself? How do you trust you’re not subliminally feeding yourself your own ego-serving script — when it’s your soul you want in the driver’s seat... particularly when traversing the veil. On Saturday, September 17, world-renowned automatic writing teacher Michael Sandler will share simple and elegant body-based exercises — sourced in the energy and the power of love — that can help you make the subtle adjustments you need to know for certain you’re successfully connecting with the other side. In this hour-long free online event, you’ll: Learn to hear, receive, and ultimately trust the inner voice/wisdom that bridges to other worlds Discover how to deeply listen — to truly hear this voice on a moment’s notice Learn the subtle but important keys to discern if the voice is really coming from you or your ego Understand when to take action on this inner voice, rather than to hold back and wait for additional information Develop trust that this inner voice has your best interests at heart (by testing the advice you receive) Michael will show you the first steps toward dropping into a trance-like state that can help you communicate with loved ones on the other side for peace, understanding, and guidance far beyond the thinking mind. If you’re seeking to understand the big picture — when most of us are desperately seeking answers to many of our personal and global issues — now is the time to begin or restart your dialogue with wise friends, guides, angels, and departed loved ones.
  23. pho ITC GEM 20: Timestream and Other Spirit Groups Editor’s Note: Many communications from Spirit Group Timestream, received at Station Luxembourg* between 1987 and 1991, provided glimpses of the spirit group, their spirit-world equipment, and their sending station in the part of spirit worlds sometimes called the “Third Level” or “mid-astral planes,” where many of us awaken after we die. The structures in those worlds are formed largely by the thoughts and expectations of their inhabitants fresh from the Earth and the manifestation powers of ethereal beings. I’ve woven lots of those descriptions into this article. (For a more intimate glimpse of Timestream… check this out…. ) These are some of the main characters at Timestream mentioned below. Svejen Salter, a human who died on a parallel world of Earth, was chosen as the head of Timestream for reasons explained in the article. Konstantin Raudive is a well-known pioneer in technical spirit communication who died in 1974 and joined Timestream. Sir Richard Francis Burton (1821-91) was a world traveler, Orientalist, discoverer of Lake Tanganyika, and a writer. His best known work was the English translation of Arabian Nights. Technician is an ethereal being (angel) who has never lived in a physical body. Seth 3 is another ethereal being who takes part in ITC. – – – Begin CETL Report – – – Spirits Who Want to Stay in Touch Many stations have been developed lately on the spirit side where friends and relatives of earth researchers can meet to discuss messages to send and how to send them. These spiritside players have lived in Africa, Scandinavia, India, China, Germany, France, Luxembourg, and other countries, but are now joined by the common goal of opening the communication channels between Heaven and Earth. The stations are like sophisticated telephone booths sitting side by side. People use them to try to make contact with someone on earth. A real city has been built. Machinery is used to construct buildings much faster than on Earth. As Timestream was coming together in the late 1980s, before they called themselves “Timestream,” the team at first referred to itself as the Burton Group, and it consisted of Richard Francis Burton, Swejen Salter, Michel Fischbach (a relative of Luxembourg researcher Maggy Harsch-Fischbach), J.P. Sherer, Nic Scherer, and others. Each is in an astral body. The researchers wrote at the time: The members have differing opinions and headstrong attitudes. They and other members of the group each have special qualities and responsibilities. The Technician supervises all communications in cooperation with higher beings. Sir Richard Francis Burton is driven by inner restlessness. His deep voice was first heard in the Spring of 1988 and encouraged the researchers never to give up their attempts at voice contact. He speaks German with an English accent. Dr. Swejen Salter (1949-87) was assigned to Earth to help with ITC work and was placed in charge of Timestream experiments by the Technician. Her ITC experience is invaluable, keeping the earthside researchers safe from unseen dangers. Dr. Konstantin Raudive takes care of the ethical, moral and philosophical discourses. He speaks to the inner man. He once asked us through the Luxembourg equipment configuration called Burton Bridge 2 (description below) to give his greetings to EVP and ITC researchers everywhere: I have a large circle of friends and acquaintances from many countries and different corners of the world. They try to reach me and wish to establish contact with me. I receive much news and so many questions and try to give an answer to all of them. However, most people cannot receive my answers in the manner you do. Even I cannot split myself into a thousand pieces. Please tell the people that I make every effort to reach them and convey my sincere thanks to them and my best greetings! When I asked that perhaps we are keeping him too busy in Luxembourg, he replied: No, no, I like to do this! It is part of my task and my calling on this side. The spirit group Timestream has meanwhile changed constantly. It is much larger and is now in contact with other spirit groups. Machines in Spirit The Burton Bridge (in the late 1980s) gets voice contacts through radio and TV, telephone dialog, computer texts and video pictures. Swejen Salter described one picture sent through a TV at Station Luxembourg: On this picture we show you the building of our communication station Cozeit. From this building the group Timestream and Central try to communicate with you. People of all nationalities do research here and go in and out. Many of them I do not know. Not all of them use technical methods. With the help of the large antenna, standing against the mountain, we transmit all communication that reaches you. Timestream’s multipurpose equipment is a box-like shape. The “apparatus” is 117 m high in the shape of a building. The towers of the apparatus are like stalactites and seem to grow. There are box-like structures inside and out containing myriad electronic parts and crystals. The apparatus on the spiritside is not a piece of equipment that can be switched on and off at will. It is an entire system comprising machines and people. Those working in ITC are part of the system, as are those who provide positive support to the projects. No contacts are forced, each session has lessons to be learned, and lessons of one ITC session must be learned before the next is allowed to begin. By the Grace of Angels The Technician and Seth 3 seem to form the link between the higher spiritual realms and all ITC work going on in the lower planes. Technician: “We have selected Swejen Salter to expand communication between higher beings and men. She is presently the only one who fully understands our ITC instructions. There are of course other people who receive communication from us but this is done through channeling and the mind.” Telepathcially channeled messages from the higher planes are changed as much as 80 percent to accommodate the thoughts, vocabulary and personality of the human channel. During ITC communications, the recipient must be ready mentally and spiritually to accept information, and then the information sent will be reasonably pure when received on Earth. Asked about the lighting in the pictures coming from the spiritside, the Technician explained: “It is the Light of a higher spirit being. Without this light you could not see the picture.” Could we compare that Light to the “physical” light, or light of the electromagnetic spectrum, that we see through our eyes? “You could compare it. What you see as Light sources are other beings beyond the third (astral) level without whose help humans of the third level could not manifest themselves.” – – – End CETL Report – – –
  24. Image source unknown ITC Gem 19: More Afterlife Descriptions Editor’s note: This article combines reports from the 1991 issues of the Luxembourg ITC journal, CETL Infonews, which I published in English back in the day. These are wonderful descriptions of the paradise world where most of us will awaken after we die. Swejen Salter and Sir Richard Francis Burton are two of the members of the spirit group who were contacting the Luxembourg researchers on a regular basis. – – – Begin CETL Report – – – On the third plane some residents have been living for over a century. Some live in castles, fortresses or beautiful mansions, other in tents or teepees — whatever makes them comfortable. New arrivals have the opportunity to get to know people of all ages of human history and to meet unfamiliar, intelligent beings of non-Earthly origin. How readily a newcomer can accept the many new and unusual things, is one factor determining how quickly he or she may move on to the subtler dimensions. The researchers are assured that these are not descriptions adapted simply to make them understand; the conditions described are as real as our world. During one of her river journeys with Richard, Swejen met a French scientist named Rimbaud who had been living with people of the early stone age to study their habits. Swejen and Richard visited their settlement and got to know them well. Swejen Salter had a reputation as a tireless worker at the Timestream sending station. She once said: “We too are overcome by a certain tiredness after long and hard work. It is not comparable to physical exhaustion but rather like the human need for change and relaxation. This relaxation is provided and takes but a short time as you measure it.” She spoke of recreation centers frequented by hard-working people in the astral planes. “The building we are in has the shape of a huge dome. Clouds are moving overhead although we are not in open space.” She said the hall interior was patterned after nature, with beautiful gardens, indescribable colors, soul-penetrating music, and flowers that emit not only lovely fragrances but soft musical sounds as well. Some recreation centers have summer activities in beautiful, earth-like settings of lush green. Others have snowy landscapes with winter activities available. Newcomers to the astral planes can spend as much time as they like in these centers. Some find the centers so appealing that they think they want to spend the rest of their spirit lives there. Others enjoy the activities for awhile then turn to other activities. Inhabitants of the mid-astral planes are assisted by higher beings in creating landscapes they are familiar with. While this reality seems a bit “fabricated” to us, Swejen is quick to point out that everything in the astral planes can be seen and touched by people in astral bodies, just as physical things are fully experienced in our material world. – – – End CETL Report – – –
