  1. ITC Gem 9: Convincing a Skeptical Public Posted on 2010 June 13 by Mark Macy Editor’s Note: This post is mostly in response to a lively conversation in the comments section of one of my other recent posts… on the strangeness of material “reality.” (click here to read that dialog between Liz Wagner and Les Harris) In many contacts our spirit friends told us that public skepticism would present a major hurdle for ITC research… and in this contact, the Seven ethereals explained that most of that skepticism can be traced back to the separation of the physical mind with our higher spiritual self. Technician: “Fear of death is one of the most distressing concepts of human culture. It is based on the conscious belief that your bodily existence offers life and security, which it never wants to lose. Fear of death therefore is evidence of the mind having lost its roots. It shows a spiritual being who has far removed itself from its higher self. “You owe this mentality largely to an intellectual and scientific way of thinking. It wants all thoughts reduced to a comprehensible level of material existence. “The church also has many difficulties. These days, the churchgoer knows very little about heaven, hell and life after death. Indeed, a large number of them deny these things. Such skepticism which is most prevalent among those who are wise and worldly could easily influence and corrupt people of simple faith and pure heart. “Heaven is in man and those who have heaven within themselves go to heaven. Heaven is in all those who recognize what is of God and let themselves be guided by the Divine. The priority and basic concern of every religion is the acknowledgement of God!” Notes Dear Liz and Les… You mentioned your personal difficulties in reconciling these ITC contacts, so I decided to share my own experiences. I struggled with the same doubts for the first couple of years of association with Maggy and Jules H-F. I remember during my first flight to Luxembourg I was reading a small stack of research reports of their work, which had been translated by Hans Heckmann for George Meek, and my mind was bouncing around: – Eyes widening…This is amazing! It’ll change the world… – Eyes rolling… This has got to be contrived. It’s impossible… – Eyes closing… I hope this is true. It’ll change everything I believe in… For the first couple of years, I was switching constantly among amazement, doubt, and wishful thinking. Sometimes I’d be convinced, and my wife Regina would say it couldn’t be true. At other times I’d express doubts and Regina would say, “You know, there might be something to this.” That especially happened when she read some of the more esoteric messages from the finer beings like Technician. Regina had studied the Course in Miracles and was a frequent meditator, so most of that information resonated with her. It was the stories of the planet Marduk being the legendary Eden and source of humanity that got her eyes rolling. She’d say, “Don’t mention Marduk in your books, or people will dismiss it all as nonsense.” Long story short, the more I became familiar with the Luxembourg researchers and their spirit friends, the more certain I became of their honesty and sincerity and the legitimacy of their claims. Then I befriended bright, discerning scientists like German physicist Ernst Senkowski and Swedish psychiatrist Nils Jacobsen, who had worked closely with the couple and were firmly convinced it was for real. But the most convincing evidence of all was provided by our spirit friends, who by then were becoming very close friends of mine. They were fully aware of the situation here—widespread religious beliefs and misconceptions, the imperceptibility of spiritual energies and realms, a Newtonian science that discounts all things spiritual, and the disinterest of the general public in these matters—all stirring up doubts and fears… even among researchers. So our spirit friends gave us good, solid evidence that would be hard to refute. You can access two articles presenting that evidence from this link: http://www.worlditc.org/d_sub.htm In a nutshell, the best evidence came as a series of cross-contacts, in which similar pictures or similar messages were sent to two or more researchers in different countries at about the same time. In most cases those researchers were not collaborating with each other… in fact they were on unfriendly terms. Our spirit friends carefully choreographed those cross-contacts in large part to convince people that these were legitimate spirit contacts. Such things could not be faked… for example a picture coming through a computer in Luxembourg that wasn’t connected to the Internet, and at the same time through a TV in Germany that had no reception. Once I acquired a Luminator, my own spirit group worked closely with me to get spirit faces appearing quite clearly on Polaroid film. I’d take pictures of people, and when the photo developed there would be faces of people who were not physically present. Those Polaroids, likewise, could not be faked. So today I have no doubts whatsoever about the legitimacy of the ITC contacts I represent (my own, and those that my colleagues and I received during the years of INIT. (click here to see our INIT group). And I have the same certainty about the early contacts of the Luxembourg couple who I later (1994) helped in establishing INIT. Those early contacts are the subjects of the “ITC Gems” that I’m posting lately. I realize, though, that my own certainty isn’t enough to convince a skeptical public. I remember a Canadian psychology professor who contacted me on several occasions, expressing what seemed to be a genuine interest and fascination with the ITC contacts I was reporting. Eventually he decided to set up some experiments to determine the legitimacy of technical spirit communication for himself. He started doing some EVP experiments under strict laboratory conditions, got no discernible voices, and then published a paper in a scientific journal, concluding that EVP and ITC are not for real. It was that sort of shallow investigation leading to conclusions that scientists wanted to hear… that finally slammed the science door for me… and I expect it will remain shut until modern science has awakened to spiritual existence. That could take many years. Anyway, as you two suggest in your comments, there needs to be a general awakening within humanity at large in the coming years… not just for the sake of ITC but for the perpetuation of the species.
  2. Posted on 2022 August 16 by Mark Macy Matter and energy. This article is about how cosmic forces formed our material universe into a realm of structures (matter) and forces (energy) that we’ve grown familiar with. The scenario below makes sense to me—based on a growing awareness of the source at the center of everything—but it’s speculative. Also, words have their limitations, so discernment is welcome. How did material universes like ours come to be? That’s what we’ll try to unravel here. And more important, how do dense physical universes like ours fit into the grand scheme of the cosmos, which is mostly subtle and spiritual… nonmaterial? Let’s start with what we know, thanks to science. As life-energy from the source streams and spirals out-beyond to Earth, it creates countless universes and worlds along the way. It’s a perplexing process, but to keep things fairly simple, we can arbitrarily divide that vast cosmos into 7 levels or realms that are all superimposed, or nested within each other. They range from dense worlds of structure at level 1 to light, formless worlds of brilliant consciousness at level 7. Here on Terra, we’re in a material universe at level 1. 300 years ago Isaac Newton noticed that all structures consist of particles (what we’ve come to call atoms). 150 years ago James Clerk Maxwell noticed that structures flourish in a sea of electromagnetic waves (light, electricity, magnetism….) Since then, we know that our universe consists of matter and energy. Whether we’re observing a planet, a person, or a pinpoint, we’re all made of atoms and atomic energies, which we’ve come to accept as the basic building blocks and basic forces of our universe. But those building blocks might not be as “basic” as we used to assume. Here are some things we’re learning more recently about atoms and atomic energies: Atoms are tiny, but their energies are vast (E = mc2), as observed in a nuclear generator or an atomic explosion. When we delve inside atoms, we find they consist of subatomic particles and waves, which have mystical properties that quantum physicists are only starting to understand. For example: Particles sometimes become waves, and waves sometimes become particles. Such transformations can occur when we humans observe them! (Speculation: if atomic energies are vast, then those waves near the source might be immeasurable—capable of creating and sustaining paradise worlds in our dense universe… or obliterating them if misused.) The basic “stuff” of our universe might be neither matter nor energy—neither particle nor wave— but “fragments of energy.” Or just maybe… It seems that as we delve deeper and deeper into the microcosm, and things get more complicated, we get ever closer to seeing the true essence of life-energy—a glimpse of “God”—the actual process by which the source creates and sustains the material universe. The process of creation apparently centers around consciousness. How Consciousness Creates Reality Our spirit friends communicated with us (INIT members) through phones, radios, and computers in the 1990s, describing their earth-like paradise world at level 3, where most of us awaken after we die. They told us on one occasion: “While level 3 is a product of the human mind, it is as much a reality as is planet Earth.” That short message implies that worlds at level 3 (and probably most everything throughout of the vast cosmos) are formed by consciousness. That’s apparently why waves and particles in our world change when we observe them here at level 1. Our thoughts and expectations about them affect them… the same way our thoughts and expectations about our pets can affect them… as researched by frontier scientist Rupert Sheldrake. Again, quantum physicists observing waves and particles might be getting a glimpse of the true nature of the cosmos as it’s being created, ultimately, by the source. Created by consciousness—the driving force of life-energy. The Source Creates, We Devise So the popular term “thoughts are things” takes on real meaning. We create much of our reality with our thoughts, feelings, and expectations. Here’s an extreme example (and I think a very important one). One of our spirit friends (who’d died on one of Earth’s parallel physical worlds) told us: “The inhabitants of Earth have not only a different view of their world than do those of my home planet, Varid, but also a different physics. For instance, the planet I come from was flat in 600 B.C. It was as flat then as it is round now. The planet has not changed, but the spirit of its inhabitants has. The spirit of man, whether on Earth or Varid, is constantly changing. Man attributes this maturing of intellect to advancements in science and to more accurate methods of investigation….” — Swejen Salter, 1991 Swejen was apparently saying that the actual structure of her home planet, Varid, was defined by the collective consciousness (thoughts and beliefs) of its inhabitants, not by the actual material shape of the planet. That implies, according to the physics of her world, that if everyone on Earth today believed that the Earth is flat, then the Earth would be flat. Mind-boggling? You bet.* But mysteries like that are bound to greet quantum physicists as they venture ever deeper into the realm of waves and particles, getting ever closer to the source. *In 1492, when Columbus set off from Europe to find America, most people apparently believed the world was flat. Was it flat? Most of us today would consider the idea preposterous. Is it preposterous? A light being at level 7, close to the source, might reply, “The only truth is in the source. All universes throughout the cosmos are just appearances, mirages that have been devised by the minds of their inhabitants. To find answers to questions like these, explore beyond your perceptions; go to the source.” How much of our “reality” (matter and energy, particles and waves…) is real? And how much of it is a mirage… an appearance? That’s the crossroads where philosophy and mysticism intersect today with science, especially physics, here on Earth. No Divine Plan. So life-energy doesn’t just stream out-beyond from the source into the cosmos to create reality according to some kind of divine plan. I believe the source is simply a bundle of infinite, brilliant potential. Life-energy leaves the source as a pure, non-vibrating light or consciousness, then it starts to vibrate slower and slower, becoming denser and denser, as it moves through the omniverse as creative potential. The living pieces (universes, galaxies, planets, entities like us…) emerge from the life-energy, then they’re free to evolve, explore, and devise new realities as they see fit. How do they devise their new realities? With their consciousness—their thoughts, expectations, and intentions. The source, I suspect, observes all the activity, intimately aware of what’s going on within each universe, within each flower, within each human life. The source is always there with its eternal perfection, at the center of everything, to nourish and to support every entity in its evolutionary choices. If we align to the source and resonate with it, we flourish. If we diverge and cause disharmony, we suffer. That might be a fundamental premise for existence everywhere in the cosmos: To Flourish, Consciously Connect to the Source There are various ways to foster conscious contact with the source, and (for us humans) they all involve, first of all, clearing the mind of its clutter then resting in the silence. The process typically involves practices like meditation or contemplative prayer. Here’s a link to my all-time favorite technique—heart meditation—and some additional links for other techniques that can help us humans to foster conscious contact with the source. The more we consciously connect to the source, the more we feel at one with the cosmos. That’s where humanity is ultimately heading, I believe: recognizing its oneness with the cosmos—whether led there by scientists or by mystics… or, best-case scenario, by mystical scientists. # # #

  6. ITC Gem 8: Reincarnation from Ethereal Eyes Posted on 2010 June 12 by Mark Macy Editor’s note: This is from an article published by CETL in Luxembourg in the early 1990s. My colleague Hans Heckmann translated it (and many other CETL reports) into English, and I published them here in the states. We had about 100 subscribers at the time, mostly as the result of an article that I’d written for my friend Willis Harman at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. (click here to read that article) The article helped the awakening process start here in the States for enhanced technical spirit communication. When the miraculous communication bridge first opened up for the CETL researchers in the mid-1980s, reincarnation was one of the first topics conveyed by The Seven ethereals. – – – Begin Maggy’s Report – – – As ITC experimenters we have learned much about our own previous life and the lives of other experimenters. Such information deeply affects the consciousness of people. In my opinion it does not help very much immediately, but in time may be of some value. People of great sensitivity, when given details of previous lives, can actually remember them. At the beginning of our first clear speaking contacts with Timestream, the Technician and Konstantin Raudive tried to tell us that reincarnation is a “Spiritual Law.” Every being on both sides of the veil has the right to “detour” this law for awhile to avoid it or even reject it. But you cannot escape from it for ever. Technician: “The human soul returns back to Earth often enough to learn all human life expereinces . . . Reincarnation is a constant evolution that moves forward, beginning with minerals, moving to plants and animals, then to human beings. There is no backwards evolution. The human soul does not return to Earth in the body of an animal.” (Maggy continues her report…) The reader will understand that we did not feel much different from any other person growing up in a Western culture who feels a little uncomfortable with reincarnation. I must say that the words of the Technician did not change my old beliefs but expanded them. I thought if this is true, and there is no reason to doubt it, the responsibility of each being towards his fellow being is really much bigger than I thought. We decide not only our own fate but affect the fates of others. In early 1987 through GA-1 the Technician made the following comments about reincarnation: Technician: “It (reincarnation) is not always a process of reparation in this life for a past life. If people around you are hard hit by fate, to not always assume that they have to make up for past transgressions. Never judge! You may be wrong and are burdening yourself by your judgment. There are people whose grief and sickness were not imposed on them because of past karma. They used their own free will to select a more difficult road to reach their goals faster. “Some people are not making up for something, nor did they pick a life of suffering. Their grief was placed upon them as a burden by the thoughts and actions of others for these reasons. Always think first how you can help, not whether a person deserves his suffering or not. Should the occasion arise when you can help someone, we will let you know. If necessary, we will inform you about their previous lives. If we remain quiet, that information is of no importance to you. In this case follow your conscience.” Not all our communication partners picked up the subject of reincarnation. Many had never thought of it during their lifetime and are only now getting interested in a return to earth. Others know about it but would like to remain on the third plane as long as possible. Decades pass by, often centuries of earth time, until the soul decides to reincarnate. Often the decision is only made if the being wants to go to a higher plane of existence and the path is only open through a new learning process on earth. Others, such as Swejen Salter and Sir Richard F. Burton, have reached the end of the reincarnation cycle and can move on to other existences. – – – End Maggy’s Report – – – Notes It’s my understanding that Maggy, her husband Jules, IONS president Willis Harman, ITC pioneer George Meek, and various other people alive in recent times, all came to Earth in their present lifetimes as reincarnations of priests who had been together at the Sothis Temple in the Middle East long ago. They each felt an inner pull toward ITC research as a result. Our INIT group received a computer letter that described the final meeting of those priests… while their civilization was on the threshold of collapse into a dark age. (Read that entire contact about the Sothis priests here…) GA-1 was one of the first configurations of radios and TVs that provided Station Luxembourg exceptional contacts with the afterlife. 7. What ITC Groups Could Learn From the Ancients (8.3) Posted on 2016 April 10 by Mark Macy To get a better understanding of the “Ancients” who shaped the human heritage, I think we have to trace much further back in time than what seems reasonable today. Science today is pretty sure that something big happened long, long ago. Moonrocks brought back by Apollo astronauts were dated to determine that there was a massive bombardment of asteroids some 4 billion (4,000,000,000) years ago, which caused most of the craters on the moon (and, presumably, on all the other moons and planets circling the sun). I think we probably have to trace back at least that far to solve the puzzle of our ancient human ancestry. And the first puzzle pieces might be those moonrocks themselves, along with the 2 million or so asteroids spread throughout our solar system. This video by Scott Manley shows the many asteroids recognized and located by science in a 30-year span, from 1980 to 2010: So the first question we should probably ask ourselves is this: Why are all those asteroids cluttering up our solar system? Well, there’s a complicated explanation, and then there’s a simple explanation. It’s Complicated… For the complicated explanation, we turn to science: Mainstream science currently believes that asteroids have been a natural part of our solar system almost from the beginning. Asteroid belts are the “junkyards of solar systems” like ours, say scientists… leftover debris from the natural formation of planets. So how did the planets and asteroids form? The popular theory today suggests that a large cloud of gas and dust (a nebula) floating through space some 4.5 billion years ago began to collapse as a result of gravity, forming rocks, asteroids, planets, and the sun itself. Then, a short while later (in cosmic terms), there was a Late Heavy Bombardment (LHB) some 4 billion years ago, when a “gravitational surge” involving Jupiter and Saturn sent Neptune plunging out into a ring of comets (the Kuiper belt), sending debris throughout the solar system, pummeling all of the planets and moons. Various scientific theories like these (the nebula hypothesis and the LHB), sometimes don’t play together nicely, and they make things seem awfully complicated, almost contrived… reminiscent, perhaps, of the old Epicycles hypothesis that was prevalent among scientists in the time of Ptolemy, around 100 A.D. 2,000 years ago, the prevailing map of the solar system (left) was really complicated because scientists at the time (such as Ptolemy) assumed that the Earth was at the center of the universe, and so the other planets and moons seemed to be doing loop-de-loops, or epicycles, as they moved through space. When scientists finally realized that the Earth is NOT the center of the universe, but is just one small planet circling the sun, a simpler, more elegant map was created (right). Asking Ptolemy 2,000 years ago how the solar system is structured—how the planets and moons move in relation to each other—he probably would have replied, “It’s complicated.” Asking scientists today how the solar system and its many asteroids were actually formed, many of them would probably say the same thing: “It’s complicated.” … Or Is It? Now the simple, more elegant explanation for asteroids: A planet circling the sun between Mars and Jupiter exploded 4 billion years ago, and the asteroids cluttering up our solar system today are just shrapnel left over from the explosion. Granted, this simple scenario gets a little complicated, too, as we dig into the backstory… as we look at more than just asteroids… as we begin to piece together what was happening here in our solar system before and after the explosion. Before that explosion, I suspect the solar system was much like it is today, but neat and tidy. There was a large planet called Eden, or Marduk, between Mars and Jupiter, and there were no asteroids cluttering up the place. Eden was a watery paradise world inhabited by super human beings who were busy colonizing other, nearby planets such as Mars and Earth… until the cataclysm caused total chaos. The asteroids and comets resulting from the explosion went everywhere, many of them pummeling the other planets and moons throughout the solar system, leaving craters. Most of the asteroids and comets were probably flung far into space, beyond our solar system, while a couple million of them settled in, forming the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, the rings around Saturn, the Kuiper belt out beyond Neptune, and the massive Oort cloud of rock-ice that totally engulfs our solar system… like a fish in the belly of a whale. Colonists on Earth were the only Edenites to survive the explosion… and the human heritage on Earth developed from them. Those superhuman castaways are the original Ancients, the forerunners of Atlantis and modern civilization. That’s a fairly cohesive outline of the human story that I’ve deduced from a series of ITC computer contacts received in the mid-1990s by INIT member Maggy Fischbach, in which The Seven ethereals gave us some clues about our ancient past. Here are a couple of key excerpts from those contacts: Long, long ago… humans came to Earth from Eden (or Marduk)…. Legends (about the fall of man) are based on a factual incident: the downfall of the civilization you often call Atlantis (also known by other names). This downfall was brought about by the descendants of the last inhabitants of Marduk who became marooned on planet Terra. This downfall came through reliance and blind trust in a massive technology. (Read more about those ITC contacts… ) Based on these and other ITC contacts, in addition to lots of research across the Internet, I’ve deduced the following: The stranded Edenites were on Earth a long time before their descendants established the civilization of Atlantis. They lived through the age of dinosaurs and the many ice ages and epochs that shaped our troubled planet over several billion years. The Atlanteans probably inherited advanced technologies from their Edenite ancestors. The Atlantean descendants of the Edenites were probably what we would call superhumans (giants, gods, titans… ), in which case the Edenites themselves were probably super duper humans. https://s0.wp.com/wp-content/mu-plugins/wpcom-smileys/twemoji/2/svg/1f642.svg The Atlantean superhumans probably lived for thousands of years, revitalizing their carnal bodies periodically with advanced technologies. The Edenites themselves might have lived for many millions of years using similar revitalizing technologies. More About the Edenites The Edenites were probably multidimensional beings, living both on the physical planet Eden and in the astral world Eden, which was a sort of spiritual template of the physical planet. (This is based on the premise that every physical thing in our physical universe has a spiritual template.) The Edenites could move back and forth between physical (temporal) and spiritual (timeless) existence, so they were not locked into short, physical lifespans the way we are today. They could constantly revitalize their carnal bodies across the years, the centuries, the millennia, and the eons. We, too, are multidimensional beings, but over the millennia, for whatever reason, our conscious self (or carnal mind) has lost touch with its higher self (or spiritual mind). For most of us alive today, in the course of a lifetime the spiritual part of us remains hidden from our carnal, conscious mind and five senses. Unless we’re psychically gifted, we only get occasional glimpses of our spiritual lives in dreams, meditations, and near-death experiences. Until we normal humans can restore our conscious understanding of our spiritual nature, the Edenite scenario will probably seem like good science fiction at best… or outlandish. Looking for Answers on Mars If I’m right about the general scenario I’ve described above, then maybe the best place to look for evidence of Edenite presence is on Mars, which was probably being colonized before the explosion. There probably would have been superhuman colonies on Mars, just as there were on Earth. While colonies on Earth somehow survived the cataclysm, colonies on Mars were apparently wiped out… in which case there could be evidence of human construction partially buried in the dust, debris, and desolation that covers the surface of Mars. A collection of high-resolution photographs were taken of the Mars surface in 2008 by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). As soon as the photos were made public, lots of curious people started to study them closely for evidence of life. Countless interesting anomalies were found. Geometric shapes that suggest intelligent design of cities, canals, and reservoirs. Faces and bodies that suggest massive sculptures formed by artistic hands. How reliable are the detailed Mars pictures found on the Internet? Some of the pictures have been photographically enhanced to bring out details of the anomalies. Enhancementshttps://macyafterlife.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/marsjokes.jpg?w=163&h=203 Others have been photoshopped to create jokes and hoaxes. Jokes and hoaxes Most of the faces and geometric shapes in the original NASA photos could be dismissed as “pareidolia,” which is like finding a face on a spackled wall or the shape of a dog in a cloud. While examining photos of the debris on the surface of Mars, the mind is bound to be attracted to familiar patterns… rocks that look like human faces… formations that resemble canals or circles or rectangles or pyramids…. Still, some of the anomalies are rather compelling. Here’s a collage of several of the more compelling images. Some of the interesting geometric patterns and faces found in the debris on the Martian surface can be found across the Internet. Some have been photographically enhanced, some have been hoaxed, and some are presented just as they appeared in the original NASA photos. On one hand, then, the safest course for truth-seekers is to avoid hoaxes by sticking with original photos by NASA and the scientists. On the other hand, scientists believe firmly that there was no human life, anywhere, 4 billion years ago, and they’ll be inclined to discount very good, solid evidence to the contrary. So, as always, truth-seekers need to tread carefully between science and the bigger picture… where greater truths coexist uneasily with jokes and hoaxes. This video by Mike Singh seems to be pretty clean (no hoaxing or sensational enhancements), and some of the images are compelling… to me, at least. video no longer available Based on the devastation that typifies the Martian landscapes, it’s likely that we won’t get any good, solid evidence of an Edenite presence on Mars 4 billion years ago… not until we humans have been able to colonize Mars ourselves, with a team of archaeologists and other scientists… who do some serious digging. . With the next article about the “Ancients” I’ll start to explore what seems to have happened on Earth since the explosion of Eden, based on the evidence introduced in earlier articles (Part 1… and Part 2… )
  8. What ITC Groups Could Learn From Religion (7) Posted on 2016 February 13 by Mark Macy Note: Once again, this article is mostly just an interesting outline of comparisons of the various religions, and what we can learn from them to apply to ITC research. Most of the “meat” is in the various links to other sites. Why compare ITC groups and religions? For one thing, they’re both involved in other-worldly pursuits… spirituality. Also, while religion is vastly popular in the world, ITC (communicating with the other side through technology) is still on the fringes of human understanding and acceptance. But mostly, seven ethereal beings acted as gatekeepers for the high-tech communication bridge that our INIT group enjoyed with the other side, and The Seven made a distinction between ITC and religion: In other words, instrumental transcommunication (ITC), as practiced by INIT, is a means of getting reliable, other-worldly information from the finer realms of spirit, and then… understanding the information, acknowledging it, adjusting it to fit our world, and acting accordingly… … whereas religion involves believing wisdom of the ages that has been interpreted and edited to fit that particular religion. These are among the most prominent religions today: The maps and statistics come from wikipedia. Map sizes are intended just to give a rough visual impression of the size differences among the religions. The 4 bigger maps were drawn for Wikimedia commons by “M Tracy Hunter”, the map of Jews by “Skalskal.” All data is based on research from Pew Research Center. Hindus and Jews make up the two oldest religions still flourishing today, having emerged during that post-Atlantean era when superhumans (a.k.a. “sons of gods” or Titans or giants or demigods) still walked the Earth alongside “sons of men,” or regular humans. Lord Krishna and Abram (Abraham) were most likely superhumans whose job it was to spread wisdom to the humans. Even though Abraham is generally thought of as human by modern Christians and Jews, both Abram and Krishna were probably contemporaries of Thoth, the superhuman with Atlantean roots, and probably had the same “noble lineage of Gods and Giants,” as Plato liked to say, with lifespans measured in thousands of years. The three newer religions sprouted and evolved from the two old ones—Muslims and Christians emerging from the Jews, and Buddhists emerging from the Hindus… and there are certain similarities among the newcomers. For example: Buddhists Christians The Buddha (Gautama or Siddhartha or Shakyamuni) lived and died around 2,500 years ago. The Christ (Jesus or Emmanuel or the Nazarene or Savior or Messiah) lived and died around 2,000 years ago. Gautama traveled and taught in what is now northern India and Nepal. Jesus traveled and taught in what is now the Middle East. Today northern India is a region in conflict among countries (Nepal, India, China, and Pakistan) and religions (Hindus, Buddhists, and Muslims) Today the Middle East is a region in conflict among countries (Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt…) and religions (Muslims, Jews, and Christians). Gautama was born a Hindu and tried to reform Hinduism, which accepted him into the long line of sages, but rejected his atheistic teachings of no God (Brahman) and no soul (atman). Jesus was born a Jew and tried to reform Judaism, which rejected him as one of a long line of legitimate Jewish prophets, and rejected his followers’ claim that he was the Messiah (savior). According to Gautama, the next Buddha will be known as Maitreya (meaning kindness or friendliness). Meanwhile… According to Christians, Jesus will be reborn into a Second Coming of Christ. Meanwhile… Buddhism has divided into various Buddhist branches , including Mahayana , Theravadin, and Vajrayana and various unique sects such as Zen, Nichiran, and Tibetan Buddhism. Christianity has divided into various Christian branches, including Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, and Protestant, and many unique sects such as Baptist, Lutheran, and Methodist. Buddhists strive for detachment, wisdom and compassion while fostering the finer spiritual forces that reside within us humans… as practiced and taught by Gautama. Christians accept Jesus as their personal savior and pattern their lives after the life and teachings of Jesus, which center around poverty, humility, and strength through weakness. Mission and Motivation I’d say the basic mission of religion is to make the world a better place by helping people to understand higher spiritual principles and to detach from worldly thinking that can drag the spirit down. Each religion pursues that mission a bit differently: Followers of Eastern religions (Hindus and Buddhists) use meditation to look inward (to atman or vijñāna) for knowledge and peace. Followers of Western religions (Christians, Muslims, and Jews) use prayer to look outward (to God) for knowledge and peace. All of the religions (other than Buddhists) believe in a central creative force or principle in the universe (God or Brahman or Allah or Yahweh) and a creative spark from that principle within each of us (soul or atman). Buddhists don’t believe in God or a soul. Christians and Muslims have the biggest religions, mostly because they proselytize—pressure followers to actively recruit other followers—through the practice of mission work and da’wah, respectively. Jews have the smallest religion, largely because they restrict and discourage new followers. Either you can trace your blood lineage back to Abraham (in which case you’re a Jew), or you can’t (and you’re not). Hindus were traditionally like Jews, remaining exclusive to Hindu lineage. While they still don’t proselytize, during the past century Hindus have coalesced as a religion in response to proselytizing pressures from Muslims and Christians that have drawn Hindus away from their native religion. Today, anyone who follows Hindu scripture can be considered a Hindu. (Read more… ) Money, the ultimate symbol of worldly things, presents a bit of a problem for religions. While all religions agree on the importance of renouncing worldly things in favor of spiritual principles, it’s not easy for churches, mosques, temples, ashrams, monasteries, synagogues, and other religious institutions to survive without money in this money-driven world. So… all religions encourage the virtue of charity among their followers, suggesting that members share their wealth with their religious groups to keep things alive. Christians go a step further to encourage followers to tithe… which has come to mean giving 10 percent of one’s earnings to the church. Whether this tithing idea contradicts or bolsters the Christian virtue of poverty isn’t clear, but it is fairly clear that tithing is another reason why Christians today have the biggest religion. When many Christians give 10 percent of their income to the church, then church infrastructure can grow in the world… even if that focus on money starts to sabotage the spiritual mission of the religion. What an ITC group can learn from the mission and motivation of religions: The main thing is, an ITC group can’t proselytize. We have to be selective with our membership. The integrity of the contact field depends on resonance among the members. We all have to have a common purpose and purity of intention in order for the spirit group to be able to work with us and our technical equipment. Their life energies can work with our life energies and our electromagnetic energies only if everyone and everything on both sides of the veil is in harmony with each other… like radios operating on the same frequency. Does that include a belief in God and a deep understanding of spiritual reality? These things would certainly help but probably aren’t necessary. Atheists could probably work alongside Christians and Buddhists and Muslims as members of an ITC group… as long as their motivations are pure and they stay true to the mission, which is to sustain a communication bridge with the finer realms of spirit (that is, spirits residing on the third level working with us earthly humans on an ITC project coordinated by ethereal beings like The Seven). That said, atheists might actually have a difficult time finding harmony amid a group involved in spirit communication… unless they can assimilate the reality of spirits and afterlife into their personal worldview. . Funding and Support of Religions As mentioned in the last bullet item above, all religions foster the virtue of charity among their followers to sustain the religion’s worldly infrastructure, but some religions go further. For example: On one hand, Buddhists rely on charity to sustain the temple infrastructure, but donations must be motivated by the donor. There are strict Buddhist rules against soliciting money. On the other hand, Christians go far beyond charitable virtue by encouraging followers (sometimes pressuring them) to tithe. Particularly wealthy is the Catholic branch of the Christians. Jews, like followers of other religions, are in principle charitable and honest in their money dealings with others… but not always in practice. Jews don’t seem to be too troubled by money’s inherent worldly/other-worldly conflict. They reject wealth as the purpose of life, but accept it as a means to enjoy a good life. An ITC group, being spiritual by nature, can’t focus too heavily on worldly things, especially money, because our communication partners on the other side are all steeped in other-worldly laws and principles, and we have to try to stay in harmony with their attitudes and understanding. As humans (e.g. members of an ITC group) become more and more preoccupied by money or food or sex or lavish living or other traps of the carnal world, they become more out-of-tune with their invisible colleagues in the finer spirit worlds… and they begin to attract the denser, more troubled and confused spirits inhabiting Earth’s shadow world. INIT operated with great success for about five years by relying on charity, which is the ideal situation for an ITC group… or at least it’s ideal under ideal conditions. We founded INIT in 1995, then after several years, conflicts began to erupt among egos and personalities within the group, as so often happens to human groups… and those are NOT ideal conditions. As various members began to argue, our generous supporters quickly lost interest, and we no longer had money for annual meetings. Our main experimenters (especially the Harsch-Fischbach couple in Luxembourg) continued to support themselves in their experiments, and our writers (me in the States, Sonia Rinaldi in Brazil…) continued to support ourselves in publishing our work. But without harmony, everything quickly began to fall apart… the friendships… the communication bridge… the contact field… and the funding. So, what an ITC group can learn about funding is secondary to what we humans have to learn about resonance and harmony. Without harmony, there’s no amount of funding that will make ITC work. Management and Direction Here, religions vary widely: The Catholic branch of Christians has a rigid hierarchy spreading downward from the Pope and the Vatican to the many priests, churches, and cathedrals. Various Christian Protestant branches have hierarchical organizations. Buddhists are more decentralized, with the local monks in various monasteries at the top of their own hierarchies. The various local groups of monks, or sanghas, are united not by a central authority, but by their common quest to convey the teachings of Buddha to the world. Hindus have a hierarchy of castes and life stages that is traditionally entwined throughout the religion and society of India. The Muslims, similarly, are part of a religion that has entwined with society, so that the religious hierarchy, ideally, is equal to the social hierarchy. Management styles vary so much among religions that there’s little to be learned here to apply to an ITC group, other than perhaps…. Someday I suspect ITC will become so common and widespread that it will entwine with all aspects of society… much as religion does today for Hindus and Muslims. Humanity will enjoy a close rapport with the finer levels of spirit on a day-to-day basis, in all walks of life. For the near future, perhaps, ITC groups might have to be more like the Buddhists: small, local groups of researchers all united by the common quest to sustain communication with the finer levels of spirit, according to what we’ve learned from The Seven ethereals and the Timestream spirit group. I remember when our son Aaron was young, Regina and I thought it would be good to join a church. The pastor of a nearby Lutheran church visited us one evening, and when I admitted that I was a little uncomfortable with the idea of organized religions, he replied, “Don’t worry, Mark, we’re not that organized.” It felt right to join that church for a number of years, largely because of Pastor Dan’s sense of humor and friendly personality. (Also I got to join the newly formed church band because I could play the drums, something I had enjoyed doing since childhood.) Egos and Personalities Pastor Dan’s fun personality played a big part in members and families feeling good and thinking pleasant thoughts when thinking about their church… and I’m sure that can be said of many, maybe most local or neighborhood churches and mosques and temples and synagogues and ashrams: The egos and personalities of the preachers, ministers, ayatollahs, rabbis, and monks shape in a big way the feelings that followers have of their place of worship. Religious leaders can instill their followers with love or with fear… with acceptance or with intolerance of other faiths and other cultures. And it depends largely on the egos and personalities of the leaders. In the final article of this series I’ll explore what I believe to be the optimum way to deal with egos and personalities in an ITC group.
  9. What ITC Groups Could Learn From the Ancients (8.4) Posted on 2016 April 22 by Mark Macy With a skeleton in place (a basic outline), and after providing some good, solid evidence to fill in the meat, now we can wrap it all up, using the four familiar headings of this series, even if they involve some speculation along with the evidence: Mission and Motivation Egos and Personalities Management and Direction Funding and Support Mission and Motivation Our most ancient ancestors, the Edenite colonists, were noble beings. As The Seven Ethereals told us in 1987: The animal consciousness has been forced on humanity, humans themselves are not bad. Prior to the last ice-age men lived peacefully together, man with man and man with animals. The Edenites must have stepped onto our world some 5 billion (or more) years ago with a noble mission and a purity of intention. That original mission was probably: To replicate the paradise environment of Eden here on Earth. After the explosion of Eden, when the solar system was being pummeled by asteroid shrapnel, a more complicated mission probably evolved: Try to carve order from the chaos and resume the quest to forge paradise on Earth… while learning lessons from the demise of Eden… especially lessons concerning the cataclysmic effect that immense spiritual energies can have on the brittle structures of the material universe.* I suspect they did their best to stay true to the mission, but things eventually fell apart, some 360 million years ago, when the Karoo Ice Age began… and when dinosaurs were introduced somehow on Earth (emerged through evolution?… or cultivated by intelligent reptilian beings?… or genetically deformed by nuclear radiation?…), and with the dinosaurs came humanity’s “dissension with the serpent.” Thousands of dinosaur figurines unearthed in Acambaro, Mexico, offer a rare view into what humans and dinosaurs probably looked like millions of years ago… during the “dissension with the serpent”… when our ancient ancestors had a particularly nasty time carrying out their mission to bring peace and order to the planet. There may have been two or more ‘generations’ of dinosaurs, one in which they looked like big snakes on legs, another in which they became the lumbering clunkers seen in museums and dinosaur books. Humans on Earth somehow adapted (again, evolution?… cultivation by the Edenites?…) to become the noble-savage forerunners of modern humanity. After the long, long reign of our ancient superhuman ancestors, modern humanity apparently had its beginnings in Atlantis, when Edenite descendants (gods, titans…) were cultivating various races of mortal humans like ourselves. By then, egos and hormones apparently had become a part of human nature. They might have been necessary tools for humans who had to prevail over the hostile environment that had become Earth since the age of dinosaurs. Egos and Personalities Some of our superhuman ancestors apparently had super egos, judging by the Thoth story and by ancient Hindu writings that are rich with stories about ancient, high-tech airships (Vimanas) and nuclear wars that shaped life on Earth over the course of “a day of Brahma”… or 4.3 billion years: The Ramayana describes a Vimana as a double-deck, circular or cylindrical aircraft with portholes and a dome that flew with the speed of the wind and gave forth a melodious sound. If the ancient airships were controlled by thought, as the Hindu verses say, then the pilots were probably superhumans (titans, or gods) with even dispositions, not subject to the rollercoaster emotions of us modern humans. Piloting by thought would require mental resonance with the craft and an unwavering focus of intention, qualities that we modern humans find nearly impossible to achieve without a great deal of mind control training and practice. Some of the airships were large passenger vessels, others were fighters. Sanskrit texts from 8,000 to 12,000 years ago are filled with references to Gods who fought battles in the sky piloting Vimanas equipped with weapons as deadly as anything today. (Read more about the vimanas… ) There’s growing evidence of these ancient nuclear wars. Possible nuclear blast sites 4,000 to 55,000 years old have been found in India, Pakistan, and North America in recent years. (Read more about ancient radioactivity in Asia… and in America…) Excavations of ancient cities Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, along the Indus River in Pakistan, uncovered skeletons scattered in the streets, many holding hands… all unburied… untouched by scavengers… as might result from some sort of nuclear explosion with its radioactive residue. The radioactivity levels are indeed still high at both sites, causing birth defects in local populations. There’s also hard evidence of nuclear blasts 2 billion years ago in Africa. (Read more… ) Those blasts might have occurred spontaneously in volatile, uranium-rich rocks, as scientists believe, or they might have been caused by Edenites tinkering with nuclear energies. If the latter case is true, then those explosions were probably the result of accidents, not wars… recalling that ITC message about “men living peacefully together” up until the Karoo Ice Age. In any case, the radioactive fallout from those atomic explosions 2 billion years ago might have caused genetic deformities… leading eventually, say, to the dinosaurs and the hostile environment on Planet Earth?… where life kills life to survive. Management and Direction Other than Hindu texts, probably the most recent, reliable records of our ancient heritage were made by the Sumerians… most notably their Kings List, an account of eight kings who reigned in succession (probably over Atlantis) before the Great Flood. According to the tablet, one king ruled for 28,800 years, another for 36,000 years. Altogether, the eight kings ruled for 241,200 years. This 8-inch-high stone cuboid is the most complete of 18 Kings Lists found in the remnants of Sumerian culture. It lists eight kings who reigned for a total of 241,200 years… indicating that the titans, or gods, who ruled Atlantis had an average lifespan of about 30,000 years. It’s named the Weld-Blundell prism and is stored in the Ashmolean Museum cuneiform collection in Oxford. Whether those records of long-lived titan kings are based on reliable truths (as I believe) or on myth or mistake (as modern science believes), they’re probably the best accounts available of the management of the Ancients. (Read more… ) Funding and Support Who knows whether any kind of currency exchange was used among the Ancients. I sort of doubt it. I suspect that most of the “support” for ancient cultures came from “the other side.” Spirit beings residing in the astral and ethereal realms were probably in a much closer, working relationship with humans on Earth then… than they are to us humans on Earth now. I suspect that there was not just communication underway between Heaven and Earth as finer spirits shared insights and guidance with the humans, but there also must have been portals through which individuals and multidimensional vehicles could move fluidly between the physical and astral realms. Lessons for ITC Groups So, some of the things ITC groups today could learn from the Ancients…. Researchers could practice fostering an even temperament so that we resonate more effectively and smoothly with each other and with our transpartners in the astral realms. That would give us a more intimate sense of how ITC is a marriage between the living minds on both sides of the veil and the equipment we use for communications. There would have been a similar psychospiritual “marriage” between the Vimana pilots and their crafts, which they controlled by their focused intentions. Simply having a better understanding of our ancient human heritage, with its titans and Edenites and super technologies, can give us a more solid base on which to approach ITC research. – – – – – – – – – – *Genius inventor Nikola Tesla enjoyed playing with oscillators. Late one night he strapped a variable-frequency oscillator onto the thick steel pillar that ran up through the ceiling and down through the floor into the bedrock below his Manhattan lab. As he adjusted the frequency, suddenly the pillar began to shake, then the entire building began to shake, and soon the vibrations ran down through the pillar into the bedrock to set off an earthquake. When he realized what was happening, he smashed the oscillator with a hammer. He later surmised that with the right vibrational device set to the right frequency, he could split Planet Earth like an apple. (Read more… ) Tesla’s resonance experiments were probably miniscule in comparison to the technologies that the Edenites were probably using when they destroyed their home planet. I suspect they had technologies to bring immense vibrational energies into their world from the worlds of spirit. If some of those technologies were inherited by the Atlanteans, it could explain the violent demise of that civilization in a series of earthquakes. The Great Flood might have been choreographed to some degree by spiritual overseers of humanity on Earth wishing to bury those cataclysmic technologies for the Second Epoch.

  12. "As I near yet another physical death, it all seems of the utmost importance to be prepared, & not lose track of one's intentions (as I have often found out in the astral)" Indeed the lack of preparation is a recurrent theme in Leslie Flint's work probably amongst many others. What is important in this material world is not the least important spiritually and to strive to be spiritually aware and advanced in ones being while here will pay dividends on transition.

  14. When spirit entities take over the arm Posted on 15 November 2010, 20:48 If there is some kind of Guinness world record for the number of books authored in a lifetime, Francisco Candido “Chico” Xavier must certainly hold the record. A Brazilian who transitioned to the spirit world on June 30, 2002, Xavier produced 458 books with sales in excess of 50 million copies. Chico Xavier But the record may require an asterisk, because Xavier was not really the author. “…if I were to say these books belonged to me, I would be committing a fraud for which I would have to answer in a very serious way after I left this world,” Xavier is quoted in a recently-released book, Chico Xavier: Medium of the Century, authored by Guy Lyon Playfair, a long-time investigator of psychic phenomena. (The book is available at Amazon.com and Amazon.com.uk) Xavier, who dropped out of school at age 13, gave credit for the words in his books to various spirit entities. His books, which included literature, history, science, and Spiritist doctrine, were published with the phrase “dictated by the spirit of…” on the title page. Moreover, Xavier donated the royalties to charity, living his entire life on a very modest government income and pension. Most people familiar with mediumship would call it “automatic writing,” but Brazilian Spiritists call it “psychography.” As Playfair points out, Spiritists make a distinction between the two, holding that automatic writing comes from the subconscious and psychography from a separate entity. So famous was Xavier in Brazil and the Portuguese-speaking world that he was honored with a stamp on April 2 of this year, the 100th anniversary of his birthday. In his home state of Minas Gerias, he was voted “person of the century” in 2000 by readers of a major newspaper there, beating out an aviation pioneer, a former president of the country, and the legendary soccer player, Pelé. More than 120,000 people lined up in a queue over two miles long to file past Xavier’s coffin and 30,000 joined in the funeral procession. In 1932, when he was just 22, Xavier produced a 421-page book with 259 poems, signed by 56 poets, many of them famous when alive in the flesh. It became a best-seller and convinced many Brazilians that consciousness survives physical death. Playfair mentions that the poems were clearly in the individual styles of the deceased poets. “Moreover,” Playfair offers, “if you are thinking of faking a Shakespeare sonnet, you must do more than imitate the poet’s style. You must get across an idea, an image, that elusive ingredient that makes a poem something more than the sum of its words.” This was clearly the case with the Xavier-produced poems. Xavier explained that he always felt an electrical sensation in his arm when he was taking dictation and that he felt his brain had been invaded by some indefinable vibrations. Interestingly, D.D. Home, the famous 19th century medium known for his levitations, wrote that he experienced an “electrical fullness” about his feet when the spirits were raising him from the ground. “To produce automatic writing, the spirit simply makes contact with the medium’s frontal lobes and right hand, leaving the rest of the brain and body free,” Playfair sets forth his understanding of the phenomenon. In addition to the books, Xavier also received many evidential messages. One of them was even accepted in a court of law and a couple of others influenced court decisions. Patience Worth A somewhat similar case of automatic writing began in the United States when Chico Xavier was only three years old. It involved a St. Louis, Missouri housewife, Pearl Curran. First from a friend’s Ouija board, then a pencil, then a typewriter, flowed the writings of a person identifying herself as Patience Worth, a 17th Century English woman. Over a period of 24 years, Patience Worth dictated approximately four million words, including seven books, some short stories, several plays, thousands of poems, and countless epigrams and aphorisms. Like Chico Xavier, Pearl Curran had only an elementary school education. In some of her scripts, she used Anglo-Saxon words that are no longer part of the English vocabulary; yet, researchers were able to confirm that these words did exist at one time, although it would have been virtually impossible for Curran to have come upon them. Critics compared her works to those of Shakespeare, Chaucer, and Spencer. W. T. Allison, professor of English literature at the University of Manitoba, observed that Patience Worth dictated words found only in Melton’s time and some of them had no meaning until researched in dialectic dictionaries and old books. Allison, who closely observed Curran, reported that in one evening 15 poems were produced in an hour and 15 minutes, an average of five minutes for each poem. “All were poured out with a speed that Tennyson or Browning could never have hoped to equal, and some of the 15 lyrics are so good that either of those great poets might be proud to have written them,” Allison offered. He went on to say that Patience Worth “must be regarded as the outstanding phenomenon of our age, and I cannot help thinking of all time.” When a philologist asked Patience how and why she used the language of so many different periods, she responded: “I do plod a twist of a path and it hath run from then till now.” When asked to explain how she could dictate responses without a pause, she replied: “Ye see, man setteth up his cup and fillet it, but I be as the stream.” According to Dr. Walter Franklin Prince, one of the scientists who studied the phenomena, Patience Worth’s writing “displayed original genius, enormous erudition, familiarity with literature and history of many ages, versatility of experience, philosophical depth, piercing wit, moral spirituality, swiftness of thought, and penetrating wisdom,” qualities and characteristics which were totally foreign to Pearl Curran. Moreover, Curran was witnessed talking to people as she took dictation from Patience. (For a more complete story on Pearl Curran, see The Mystery of Patience Worth in the Features section of this blog.) Many psychologists and parapsychologists are grounded in materialism and unable to consider a spiritual explanation for automatic writing. Thus, they contend that the automatic writing is coming from the medium’s subconscious mind. However, they don’t really address how the information got into the subconscious in the first place. Television was not yet a reality when Pear Curran lived nor for the first half of Chico Xavier’s life, so it is unlikely that the subconscious absorbed it from television programs. Radio was in its infancy when Pearl Curran lived and it is highly unlikely she listened to many radio programs or read many books with 17th Century English. Those who believe in reincarnation might explain Patience Worth as memories from a past life existing in Pearl Curran’s subconscious, but past lives would not explain most of the material produced by Chico Xavier as many of the spirits communicating through Xavier were “living” when he was born. No doubt the subconscious mind does produce things we are not consciously aware of or thinking about, but to write it all off as coming from the subconscious seems like a real stretch. William Thomas Stead William T. Stead, a famous British journalist who was a victim of the Titanic disaster in 1912, developed the ability to do automatic writing. In one of his books, Letters from Julia, he wrote that he could not believe that any part of his unconscious self would deliberately practice a hoax upon his conscious self about the most serious of all subjects, and keep it up year after year with the most sincerity and consistency. “The simple explanation that my friend who has passed over can use my hand as her own seems much more natural and probable,” concluded Stead, who was observed by Titanic survivors serenely sitting in the smoking room and reading his Bible as pandemonium took place all around him.
