ITC Gem 32: The Second Epoch

As I reflect on the state of the world, my mind is frequently drawn back to the closing years of Atlantis, as described to us by The Seven ethereal beings who have monitored our world from the most ancient of times, and who sanctioned the miraculous ITC bridge that opened up for our INIT group in the 1990s.

Following is Chapter 9 of my book, The Project, which describes the end of the First Epoch.

My hypothesis. Babylon marked the beginning of the Second Epoch of human civilization on Earth, and we could be approaching the end of that Epoch today. The First Epoch centered around the vast, ages-old civilization we usually call Atlantis, and it had deteriorated into a dark age probably some seven to eleven thousand years ago, before the last flicker burned out in 1220 BC.

So the Golden Age of Atlantis—a time when parts of the Earth were like a paradise—was underway several thousand years before the energy experiments destroyed what was left of the civilization in northern Europe. At that time, the last remnants of the First Epoch were being washed away—literally—and the Second Epoch was taking root.

Civilization in the First Epoch included the fertile crescent formed by the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, known today as the cradle of civilization. A city called Shanidar was part of the empire, probably located around 400 miles north of modern-day Baghdad. A spiritual center, a temple called Sothis, was located along the banks of the Euphrates River on the same spot where Babylon would emerge thousands of years later. At that time long ago, the civilization fell into a terrible dark age at the hands of barbarian tribes, bringing an end to the First Epoch, and we today seem to be moving toward the next major dark age and the end of the Second Epoch.

Hard evidence.Babylon was located just south of modern-day Baghdad along the banks of the Euphrates River around 2000 BC to 400 BC. Archaeological sites in and around the Shanidar Caves 400 miles north of Baghdad have produced evidence of farming around 10,000 BC. The caves themselves have yielded Neanderthal skeletons dating 60-80,000 years ago.

Ethereal truth. In the summer of 1998 our INIT research group received a contact from The Seven Ethereal beings through a computer at our ITC receiving station in Luxembourg. I publish below an English translation of the transcript in its entirety. The original contact arrived in German. It describes what unfolded on that final day of the First Epoch in an empire long ago, before its collapse into a dark age.

Alkbrat of Shanidar was the last one to enter the great temple hall. He walked bent over and was slow of step. His white hair and flowing beard gave him a patriarchal appearance. He leaned his curved golden staff against the table and took his place at the head of the table. The others in the room remained silent; they knew they had to wait until the venerable old man opened the assembly. It was the last time that they would meet like this in the Sothis Temple, for the barbarians were already at the outer walls of the city. Alkbrat raised both hands and began with a clear, firm voice, which, despite his age, sounded full and strong:

“Participants of this project, my brothers and sisters, the Golden Ages of our culture are at an end. Our civilization has become so indifferent that the innumerable dead, who die of starvation and disease, have become a common sight for you. They elicit no more than a sigh, or in the best case, a tinge of protest. The streets of our cities have become the residence of legions of the homeless; drugs rule the world; men murder their brothers on a scale and with a bestiality that has not been seen since the (previous) dark ages.

“At the same time, thousands of lesser acts of violence and abominations have become so customary that they hardly seem real. We have tried to avert the evil with our Project Sothis, but we have failed. We have made the mistake of reaching an understanding with the pupils of Nephtos, because we believed that as the caste of scientists, they would help us convince the people that the Gateway, the Space-Time Arch, was the last hope for our sick world. But we have erred. They have measured, minced and counted, and again, measured, minced and counted, and could not recognize the true meaning of our search, because they could not recognize the truth that stood behind our endeavors: the inseparability of the spiritual from the material world—the opening of the door between these worlds. So we lost precious time, and our adversaries used our weaknesses. Some of us have fallen away and let themselves be lured by passing fame and Mammon; others were intimidated and have lost their belief in the righteousness of our good cause.

“We do not wish to bear them ill will, but rather pray that someday they will recognize their error. But we must be conscious that pride, covetousness, and arrogance are guilty of bringing our Project to ruin. Today we meet for the last time; tomorrow some of us will already no longer be among the living; others will be in flight. We know that our bodies, which we now inhabit, are only houses from which we will soon be moving. Where to and when we know not, but now we want to speak the last vow, and give our word, that at the given time, in another place, with another appearance, and under different names—some will be men and no longer women, and vice versa—we will no longer remember here and now, but when we meet again, we will know that we belong together. This very night, a Spirit of the Rainbow appeared to me and assured me that they will guide us further and lead us when mankind approaches the next dark age. This will be when voices speak from boxes and human beings move through light behind glass. Here on this spot on the river after many millennia, a city will arise that will be called Babylon, and the Second Epoch will begin.”

Alkbrat arose. The golden threads that were interwoven through his deep blue garment shimmered in the glow of the candles. The others also arose and, extending their hands, they spoke the vow.

So it came to pass, and it is being communicated to you (INIT members), because you have found each other again, and this time have passed the first part of the test. Continue to watch out for false friends and know that the journey is a long one.

    The Seven, 1998 July 3

In other contacts we were told that several of INIT’s members and interested supporters had worked on The Project thousands of years ago, in other incarnations, and that is why they were now, in their current incarnations, especially drawn to ITC… and why they in particular have been supported by The Seven ethereals.

(In any case, as I mentioned earlier in the book, I believe that after the collapse of Atlantis, the powers-that-be decided to close the case on the First Epoch, and they literally washed away much of that civilization with a major flood. The hypothesis is supported by ancient legends of a major flood, by surviving evidence of a great ancient civilization that extended throughout much of Europe and the Middle East, and by our spirit friends’ testimony that Atlantis was a highly advanced, flourishing civilization.)

ITC Gem 31: Technical ITC Conclusions

2011 March 26 by Mark Macy

Spirit has always used whatever technology was available on Earth to try to make contact with us physical humans, from the runes and crystal balls of yore, to modern electronic devices today. Regardless of the equipment being used in whatever era, two qualities (one in our world, one in theirs) have been of utmost importance in building a reliable bridge with meaningful information coming into our world:

    • The psychospiritual disposition of the human experimenter (a pure and positive mind, focused intention, psychic sensitivity…), and
    • A finer or more “elevated” spiritual vibration of our invisible friends. Light, ethereal beings with their amazing powers can open, sustain, and protect an ITC bridge, while dear, departed Uncle Fred cannot, even with the best of intentions. If the spirit of Uncle Fred happens to be present at an opened bridge, he might be invited to convey a long, insightful message to his loved ones on Earth who are “ready” and willing to hear from him… but for Fred or anyone else to die on Earth, awaken in spirit, and then call his family on the phone… it just isn’t going to happen without finer, more powerful spirit guides facilitating the event.

In this final post on the “technical” considerations of ITC, I’d like to share some experiences of researchers in northern Europe in the 1980s, which I think will support this hypothesis.

Why northern Europe? It’s at the site of ancient Atlantis (the Atlantean capital of Basileia (or Basilaie?) was near modern-day Helgoland, off the coast of Germany, according to spirit friends in contact with us through ITC systems… read the contact here on page 5), and there seems to be some important connection there, having to do with what might be called the “energy imprint” of Atlantis that still remains today in northern Europe.

Why the 1980s? Astonishing ITC bridges began to open up at various northern European locations at that time. The hope on both sides of the veil was that those bridges would remain open indefinitely, allowing tremendous wisdom to flow into our world for decades to come… but it would all depend on us humans, and our ability as ITC researchers to sustain a unity of mind. Sad to say, that didn’t happen. Most of the bridges had closed down by the year 2000, and they won’t reopen until that unity of mind can be achieved… something I’ll discuss in a later article. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the technical bridges that did open for us in the 1980s

    Computer contacts

In 1987, researchers in Luxembourg were told that computers would be an efficient way to get information from their spirit friends. They reported, “Due to the large amounts of energy exhausted during voice contacts, these (radio, TV, and telephone contacts) are being replaced by computer contacts.”

Ken Webster of England (see articles here and here) published a book (The Vertical Plane) in which he reported on more than 200 computer contacts, starting in 1984, with local persons who had died more than three centuries ago. One of Webster’s main contacts was 16th Century Englishman Thomas Harden, who had lived in the same house that Webster now resided in, when the town was still named Bristol. From the astral planes, Harden could see Webster’s electronic equipment in the living room. He referred to the computer as “a box with a multitude of lights” sitting near “my chimney.” Harden would communicate in old English grammar in a variety of ways — telepathic messages, scribblings on note paper, chalk-written messages on the floor and, most important, computer files written on the display screen and generated on hard disk! Exactly how a 16th Century spirit could successfully manipulate a 20th Century computer is still open to speculation. Harden wrote, simply, that the writing was formed according to his will or his visualization in the “lightbox.” While no one on Earth understands for certain how such a transfer of ideas from spirit to physical occurs, it is likely that the higher beings of the universe who dwell in the higher planes (and are as invisible to astral residents such as Harden as they are to us living on the earth plane) quietly provided the technical assistance of getting the messages into the computer. These higher beings are always fully abreast of the happenings on Earth — from high-tech trends to personal thoughts and attitudes of its individual inhabitants.

    Custom ITC Equipment

Jochem Fornoff and Peter Haerting were experimenting together in the mid-80s in Darmstadt, Germany, when they observed the amazing radio, TV, and telephone contacts being received in Luxembourg. They created a similar system that included a radio operating near the Eurosignal (87.5 MHz), a TV tuned to the idle channel 21, infrared lamps, one psychophone broadband receiver, and a psychophone with built-in generator. Their recording equipment included a low noise mixer and microphone pre-amplifier. The two men made their first contact in April, 1987, when a deep, drawling male voice announced:

Dear Friends, you are receiving us today across the Euro-Bridge. This transcommunication develops out of ABX-Juno … We will try to recontact you in July.

In July, the experimenters asked about the significance of the name “ABX-Juno,” and the same deep voice explained that A is for Aussen (external), B is for biological, and X is for experiment. Juno is the entity’s name.

For the next year, general and personal messages from ABX-Juno were friendly, supportive, and insightful, as the experimenters met with a small circle in the home of Peter Haerting. Some examples:

Use your strength for a positive balance. Concentrate your thoughts on what is good.

This has been a recurring theme in messages received by most successful ITC researchers: the need for mental purity.

Our technicians are trying to activate the transcantor (an unfamiliar term to the experimenters). Please be patient. We have to break off. We are getting a massive disturbance from your circle. Try reaching us again at 23:20 this day.

The disturbance was apparently from troubled thoughts and feelings in the mind of an attendee, who may or may not have even been aware of them.

You are asking if it is advisable for your side to get in contact with us. Look at it this way: without our contributions your most intense efforts would be useless.

Another basic truth of ITC known by all successful experimenters: Most of the bridge-building between our world and the worlds of spirit has to be done by our invisible friends on the other side. Our main tasks include keeping a clear, positive mind and heeding their suggestions for equipment improvements on our side.

Contacts continued with Juno throughout the year, but in January 1988 they abruptly ended with no explanation.

A similar situation had occurred in the US when George Meek and Bill O’Neil were enjoying a series of contacts with the spirit of George Jeffries Mueller who had died in 1967. Fortunately, the Meek team received some advance warning from Dr. Mueller, when he told them in 1982:

I cannot be here forever … there is a time and a place for everything.

Dr. Mueller soon would not be able to contact Meek and O’Neil over their single-frequency Spiricom system. The system had been built over the months through the interdimensional collaboration of O’Neil and Mueller as a customized device for Dr. Mueller. It would not work for another spiritual entity, nor would it work for Dr. Mueller once he had moved on to other projects.

    Time Differential

Hans Heckmann and his fellow researchers have found that almost all predictions based on time were inaccurate. There is no past, present or future. Sometimes the spiritual beings would mix up the past with the future.

Researcher Maggy Harsch-Fischbach reported the following information between 1988 and 1992:

“There is a time lag with computer transcommunication, whereas voice transmissions are instantaneous, apparently because they involve direct mind-to-mind communication, or esp. The lag in computer transmissions may have to do with materialization. The conversion of subtle, etheric matter of a fine vibratory rate into dense matter of slow frequency requires much effort from the spiritside. The Technician has said that computer printouts require materialization; hence the delay.

“For the benefit of new readers we want to repeat that, unfortunately, we have no influence on whether or when these groups will respond to the questions you and others submit to us. This is true for inquiries about friends and relatives who have passed on, as well as scientific and technical questions.

“Many inquiries have accumulated during the last months and years and are stored on our computer memory disk or floppy disk. It is impossible to remember them all and we therefore filed them in our computer.

“The other side does not have this problem. They may refer to a question which was filed in our computer several weeks, months or even years ago. Often the answer arrives when we did not count on it anymore. You could therefore say that spirit contacts do not depend solely on the expectations and motivations of the experimenter.”

ITC Gem 30: (Technical ITC 4:) Transvideo

Posted on 2011 March 5 by Mark Macy

In the 1990s I visited Prof Ernst Senkowski in Mainz (Germany), and he later visited Regina and me in our home near Boulder (USA). Having worked closely with Klaus Schreiber, Martin Wenzel, Maggy Harsch-Fischbach, and other pioneers in video ITC, Ernst told me that one key to getting video ITC contacts (or ITC contacts in general) is to set up a situation in which energy can feed back on itself. A video ITC system, for example, might have a video camera aimed at a TV, with the output of the camera fed back (via cable) into the TV… creating a feedback loop… and then adjusted to cause a churning cloud of noise on the screen. Out of that noise can come a spirit image… the classic example being the face of Austrian actress Romy Schneider manifesting on the TV of Klaus Screiber:

    Romy Schneider videoclip

Schreiber also captured video of the late scientist Albert Einstein:

    Albert Einstein videoclip

Video feedback has become a popular experimental technique today, with samples found on various websites. (Example)

The experiences of Maggy in Luxembourg, however, suggest that such techniques aren’t necessary when working with a highly competent spirit group. Her invisible friends at Timestream delivered video directly into an old TV set with no reception that she got out of the closet, dusted off, and plugged in. Here are a few samples of the historic Luxembourg transvideos.

    (Hanna Buschbeck’s background)

videoclip of English explorer and author Sir Richard Francis Burton

videoclip of pigeons in the spirit world

Our INIT members, including Maggy and other researchers from various countries, were given a rare taste of what’s possible through ITC… and our main job in the ITC project was to sustain harmony and good will among our group, which we succeeded in doing for about five years. During that time, our spirit friends provided nearly all of the technical expertise… in the subtle devices and energies they managed to interface with our TVs, radios, telephones, and other dense equipment.

I know that as ITC develops successfully on Earth in the future, it will involve efforts to sustain resonance among those working on the project. ITC simply cannot work without harmony and unity of thought. I suspect also that as we learn more and more about other-worldly energies and technologies, we physical humans will be playing an ever greater role in refining devices that can work with subtle energies. Those devices, like our spirit friends, will be profoundly affected by our thoughts, intentions, and attitudes.

Until then, ITC will be a noble dream… something to which to aspire… and the aim of this website is to provide a glimpse of that dream.

ITC Gem 29: (Technical ITC 3:) MORE Trans-Images

2011 February 26 by Mark Macy

At the height of ITC contacts (late 1980s and 90s), our spirit friends sent images showing people and places from the various communities and worlds and levels that they inhabit. The techniques and technologies they used were developed on their side in order to conform to the equipment used by the (mostly) European researchers, especially their TVs and computers.

The main technical developments in ITC were taking place on the other side. The main jobs of the researchers were to sustain a positive rapport with each other and with the spirit team, to provide some basic communication equipment, and to make small changes to the equipment as recommended by the spirit group. Some of those recommendations were delivered through ITC contacts (voices spoken through radio or telephone or written messages on computer), and others, especially early in the research, came through telepathically received messages. Researchers might receive clearly worded instructions during a dream or meditation, or they might feel a strong urge during the actual experiments to adjust this or that. In any case, it always involved a close psychospiritual rapport with the spirit group… without which there cannot be true ITC.

The recommendations, the small changes to the equipment, and the life energies of everyone involved in the ITC project on both sides of the veil (especially the focused intent of the researchers), all became part of the contact field… and all helped to “customize” the equipment for those researchers and their project. For that reason, an ITC device used with exceptional results by one researcher and his spirit friends usually didn’t work for another researcher.

That said, the following images were made possible by the historic contact fields established by researchers (the Harsch-Fischbach couple of Luxembourg) and their spirit collaborators.

A photo is taken spiritside in a similar fashion to the way it’s done here. It is then read into a spiritside computer with the help of a “small disk” transferred to the TimeStream station. Then Swejen Salter enters it into the scanner program in the earthside computer.

Paranormal scanning: A scanner system (on Earth) includes a piece of equipment and a computer program. The equipment, which contains a photosensitive diode, shines light across a printed page and observes the image as a pattern of black and white areas and dots.

The program copies this black and white pattern into a file in computer memory in such a format that when it is sent to a line printer or laser printer, a facsimile of the original picture is created. Both text and pictures can be scanned.

During paranormal scanning the text and pictures are fed into earthside computers from the spiritside.

The earthside computers used by Timestream spirit group are not connected to each other nor to any other terminal in any physical way. Each computer’s only connection is the 220 volt power connector that plugs into the wall outlets.

    image.jpeg.238b57f230610b591bc8dbd6e51e2409.jpeg

Jeannette Meek’s picture was to be sent across in this fashion, but according to Swejen, George Meek’s medium Loree’s deep belief and strong affirmation that Jeannette has angel wings, prevents the picture from being scanned. Swejen acknowledges Loree’s strong psychic skills, but believes that she is misguided in her belief about wings.

    image.jpeg.eab89a75f7717da0b0e14877064badca.jpeg

Jeannette Meek and Hal Roach in paradise, at the “fifth level” of spiritual existence

“As so many other people on Earth, she was told that higher entities have wings. Wings are of symbolic character and once helped man to be able to imagine the spiritual world, but they are not a sign of higher levels.”

George Meek disagrees. Regardless of whether or not his late wife has wings, his extensive research into angels provides very strong evidence that angels do exist and many of them do indeed have wings. Whether the wings grow naturally in the higher realms or are materialized by the strong beliefs and thoughts of Earth dwellers is uncertain. Whether it is angels everywhere or simply angels serving Earth that have wings is unclear. In any case, Meek believes that it is Swejen Salter’s nonEarthly background that may make her unaware of angel wings.

(Eventually a picture of Jeannette was sent across on November 21, 1992, showing only her face superimposed over a beautiful astral landscape in what our spirit friends called the fifth level. Also in the picture is Nancy Carol, the daughter of Jeannette and George, along with Hollywood producer Hal Roach. The three happen to be residing in the same spirit realm, so the spirit group was able to add them all to the picture.)

There is a sort of filter system used in the transmission of photos between dimensions. The filter modifies the sent photos according to the memories, ideas and expectations of the receivers. This causes some pictures to be altered to the point where they are similar to earthside photos.

    Other pictures are obviously unique.

    ITC Gem 28: Technical ITC 2: Trans-Images

2011 February 6 by Mark Macy

Editor’s note: In ITC contacts involving images, when the spiritside sends a picture, it is not known when, in what form, nor even whether it will be received earthside. Much depends on the “receptivity” of the researchers on earth – – their personalities, ideas, desires and thoughts. As an example, let’s imagine that Abraham Lincoln (assassinated US president) or Olof Palme (assassinated Swedish prime minister) is at the sending station and the experimenters are now sending a picture of him — an exact likeness of how he currently appears in his astral body – – to a group of six people on earth.

When will the picture arrive? If the receivers are all ITC researchers, all intimate friends who share a deep faith in the experiment and a strong commitment to ITC, then the picture may appear within moments of the sending. If several of the receivers happen to be newcomers to the group who are currently in awe of the project, but within two weeks will become comfortable, enthusiastic team players, then the picture may appear in two weeks. If the receivers are six very strong psychics with several different beliefs about the famous politician (one perhaps believing that he is now an angel with wings, another believing that he has reincarnated and could not possibly be at the astral sending station, etc.), then their powerful mixed thoughts might jumble the contact field to the point where a picture will never arrive.

How will the picture look? Again, if the receivers are a tightly knit group of experienced, objective ITC researchers, the picture may be an exact likeness of the late leader as he appears in his current astral body. If the receivers are a cross-section of US citizens, or Swedish citizens, the picture may come out looking like “Honest Abe” on a $5 bill, or Olof Palme on a postage stamp, since that’s how most citizens mentally view their famous leaders.

    abelincoln22.jpg.a3c2915a8f42dcb0d604a1a49ad7af45.jpg

These are the sorts of technical considerations that influence ITC in a big way. The actual equipment is a minor issue. The researcher (Maggy Harsch-Fischbach) who received the following contacts, and many other contacts like them, made few technical adjustments to her equipment. She simply possessed a television, a computer, a powerful psyche… and had a devoted spirit group (Timestream and The Seven ethereals) who could make it all work together in miraculous ways.

Here, Maggy has a long chat with her spirit friend, Swejen Salter, on the subject of trans-images. I’ll include a few pictures from Maggy’s early research reports, so you get an idea… MM

    1992

When transmitting pictures of human beings and other entities, our collaborators can only present the former as images of their own mind. The manner of representation is not important to them, but it is to us and therefore does not always satisfy us.

A Christian can see an angel in a higher being. A Hindu or Buddhist sees someone else. By still others they are perceived only as radiating light.

For these reasons Timestream and Central consider carefully how a person is represented. The picture arriving at our computer is a composite representation of how a person is seen by several beings, not just by one.

Swejen Salter comments on the difficulties of picture transmission as follows:

Spiritside: When transmitting pictures of higher beings we are dependent on the help of a larger spirit group. You surely noticed that the picture of Seth 3 and the picture of Angele Mreches were produced with a different technique than the pictures of Konrad Lorenz, Tom Edison, George Cukor, Jean Pierre Scherer, Marie Mreches, etc.
The problem is this: it is easier to transmit the image of a person who has lived on earth than to depict a higher spirit being. Human beings can assume the density of the body and former appearance on earth. Higher spirit beings cannot accept the density of the human body, at least not in the same way.

Angelle Mreche, the researcher’s late aunt (an ethereal being)angiemreche1.jpg.de136d427ddb0418d1ae8c4b58d2800b.jpg

Konrad Lorenz, late Austrian scientist (in Timestream spirit lab)

    konradlorenz.jpg.6c8130990c34b9033cf8c94356e6fdd3.jpg

Earthside: How can I understand this? Angele lived on earth for 12 years and could have adjusted her body density as easily as other human beings.

Spiritside: In truth, Angele does not belong to the human line of development. She is a nonhuman being like the Technician or Seth 3. They can incarnate in a human body or show themselves in body on our side. The human body plays only a minor part for them. They accept it because it allows them to get to know us better and to study mankind much better. All information such an entity gains about human existence is automatically transferred to other beings of its kind. Angele remembers little of her years on earth. Her years of incarnation were of minor importance to her…

If we used the same transmission method for Seth 3 and Angele that we use for humans, you would not recognize them. They are not “real” humans anymore.

Earthside: I remember picture transmissions of you and Angele on which your faces could barely be recognized. We did not publish these pictures. It is strange that your clothes were visible but your faces and hands fused with the light rays.

Spiritside: These pictures were experiments which did not satisfy because you could not recognize too much. We then tried to find other methods. Although I do not yet belong to the group of entities such as Angele, I was at the moment of picture-taking in the same area of light rays as she was.

Earthside: But you are already visiting the fourth level. Don’t you already have experience with non-human life?

Spiritside: Yes, that is true, but to maintain the connection with you, I have to take on the astral body again.
What I still wanted to tell you: to transfer the transparency that constitutes the body of a higher being, we need an adequate “transparent” method to visualize it in the density of your world. The technique we use is a “point-by-point” transfer until the face is recognizable. It is a “transcription” of what we see here. We might say it is a trans-visualization with the help of a common artificial intelligence (the computer program).

During this talk Swejen again said how much Susanna Lehnhoff, the wife of the painter Edouard Manet, and Jules Verne’s former wife (Honorine deViane) have used their talents to help the experimental group of Timestream with their picture transmissions.

Swejen also mentioned that both ladies at first were not at all interested in ITC experiments.

Spiritside: We had repeatedly asked for their cooperation, but they refused by reasoning: “Why be concerned with these contacts with earth when different and more pleasant possibilities are open to us here?” I persisted, and it came to several small arguments between us before I convinced them. They now accept that the contacts are important for everyone’s life. They have received great recognition for their work and their skills here at Timestream. I am now on friendly terms with both ladies and would be grateful if you mentioned them in your writings.

    – – – – – End research report – – – – –

We are told that children who die at a young age (such as Maggy’s Aunt Angie, who died at age 12) are sometimes incarnations of ethereal beings who want a taste of life in this rugged world, but who opt out of a long, grueling lifetime of day-to-day dramas that can drag down the lighter, finer spirits among us.

Ethereal beings apparently are of too fine a vibration to be ‘captured’ through astral photographic techniques of our spirit friends, so they are first “painted” by gifted artists-in-spirit in sort of pointillist technique, and the created images are sent to Earth.  – – – MM

ITC Gem 27: Technical Aspects of ITC (Part 1)

2011 February 2 by Mark Macy

Editor’s note: This is the first of several articles sharing what are probably the best technical insights anywhere available (on Earth) on how ITC bridges are opened and sustained. As with all these “ITC Gems,” the knowledge was gathered by some of the best researchers in the late 1980s and early 1990s, especially Maggy Harsh-Fischbach of Luxembourg… but also (in future installments) Dr Walter Uphoff (New Frontiers Center) and Dr Ernst Senkowski (Psychobiophysics Institute). This first installment is by far the most important of the series, as it deals with the “contact field”… how our thoughts and attitudes can enable or disable the miraculous bridge that allows information to flow freely from the finer worlds of spirit into our TVs, radios, computers, and other technical devices.

    – – – – – Begin researcher reports – – – – –

    1992

The technical recommendations we get from the other side are merely hints. We still do not know the reason why a certain piece of equipment works well only in connection with a certain experimenter. As far as we know there are no spirit plans for the construction of electronic equipment that would provide a ready made spirit contact for everybody.

There are merely attempts to approach the problems mutually.

We have meanwhile learned that everyone would have to have his own equipment which is modified and adjusted to fit his own personality if contacts such as ours are desired. If we could analyze the soul of the experimenter like we can read his thumbprint we could get a little closer to the problem.

Each time we use our computer to write the INFOnews I get the feeling that its intricate electronics creates a type of x-ray picture of us and sends it to the other side. Of course I am not speaking of the x-rays we are all familiar with but a “picture” of the human soul with all intentions, feelings and experiences from many lifetimes.

The same can be said of experimenters who use their cassette recorder and by the answers they receive notice that their spirit partner is not observing their physical body but their etheric body, their emotions and the reflections of their soul.

Are there any connections between the electronic systems and the biophysics of man? I have often talked to Swejen about this subject. She said that one day equipment would be invented and developed on earth that could measure the subtle fields of the human body.

But man has to develop this device himself, Swejen said, comparing our search with the research efforts on their side.

    1991

Konrad Lorenz, an animal lover during his life on earth and now a spiritside worker with Timestream, worked on a rescue operation of animals who suffered agonizing deaths during the Persian Gulf war in February 1991.

Lorenz: Sometimes one is almost ashamed to have lived as a human being on earth.

The picture of Konrad Lorenz shows just a small part of the equipment used on the other side for ITC contacts. It is impossible to show the entire installation with the primitive earthside equipment. Metals and other materials are used in spiritside equipment that do not yet exist on Earth, a fact that seems to hinder picture transmission.

    1991

Maggy: The important element of ITC is not which researchers adjust which equipment, but what are their thoughts. The clarity of the voices and images coming from spiritside depends upon these thoughts.

If participants in public contacts doubt the authenticity of the spirit voices, they will suppress the powers which can make these larger circles possible.

    1989

Maggy: Too often “there are pretended friendships, pretended harmony to enable participation in voice contacts and serve one’s selfish interests. Human participants forget all too often that the higher beings look into our hearts and know our thoughts and motivations … and it is these higher beings who decide whether or not to make the contact.”

CETL was originally open to the public; anyone interested was included in the vibrational field for contacts. The field is built of thoughts, attitudes, prayers and desires — both positive and negative — of all involved. As a result, the field invited both positive and negative spiritual influence from the other side. The negative forces led to accidents, illness, conflicts and problems at work. There were materializations and dematerializations, dead-end situations that wasted time and energy. The unsuspecting victims were held responsible for their predicaments.

    1988

When the minds and thoughts are lined up with each other, higher beings can utilize these vibrations to improve voice contacts. The communication with ESB and GA1 was built up by the energy fields of four people.

Maggy: “It is vital for ITC researchers to examine all our thoughts, words and deeds and to be sure they come from a pure heart. It is a prerequisite that experimenters are compatible and have enough in common to reach the goals they have set for themselves.”

Technician: “A new electronic system will function when a unity of thought has been reached among researchers Earthside.”

    1990

During paranormal audio and video transmissions, a field of vibrations (contact field) is generated on every participant on both sides. It is formed by the telepathic abilities, thoughts and attitudes (especially the attitudes towards ITC) of all participants. Former participants not in attendance at session favorably affect the session as long as they maintain their interest and attitude toward ITC.

The sense of unity and cooperation among researchers is like a mesh or net; there is strength and integrity only when everyone is well linked with the others.

The spiritside senders and earthside receivers must be attuned to each other spiritually. They need similar interests and intentions. The spiritside might send an ocean of information, but the earthside may have the spiritual capacity to receive only a few cupfuls.

    1991

Swejen Salter, on the technique of information transfer: “We do not transmit any text passages in the form that is commonly used on Earth, but by thought impulses which in conjuction with the thoughts of the human receiver, interact and arrive as words on your side. We simply cannot list all the sources of every computer text because our thoughts are not transmitted as an expression of words but leave as impulses.”

Maggy: “There seems to be a multidimensional field of information which is being formed according to holographic principles by beings of different dimensions. This multi-dimensional information field possibly is related to the Akashic Records, linked to it, or even identical to it. It contains basic structures or “truths” that are timeless and always valid and which when expressed in three dimensional speech symbols, produce similar patterns for our senses.”

    1988

The collective thoughts of a team of researchers play a much bigger role in ITC than any equipment. The Luxembourg team was told by their spiritside colleagues, “The new equipment will only function properly when spiritual progress is guaranteed among men.”

(The most successful ITC researchers are those who have become more like their spiritside colleagues; their vibratory rates increase and their telepathic skills improve. As that happens, they become more subject to spiritual laws. Their thoughts become more pure and honest, since deception is unacceptable in the subtler realms. Their day-to-day harmful deeds are pointed out to them, and from that point on human ignorance is no longer an excuse; they must alter their behavior or face the consequences (which include severed ties with their spiritside colleagues).

    – – – – – End researcher reports – – – – –

Conclusion: It’s evident from these research reports that the most important element in ITC is the human psyche. To experience ITC miracles, clear the mind, focus, and sustain resonance among your colleagues! (I’ll try to attach some of the transpictures to this post in the coming days… or better yet, post new articles that include pictures… MM)

ITC Gem 26: Ethereal Beings (Angels), Part 2

2011 January 29 by Mark Macy

Editor’s note: This article takes a close look at the wonderful interactions between ethereal beings, especially the one called “Technician,” and ITC researcher Maggy Harsch-Fischbach. I got to know Maggy pretty well during eight years of collaboration in which I visited her and her husband Jules, published her many incredible reports in English, and helped her manifest her dream of an international association of researchers and scientists. With the guidance and connections of my good friend Juliet Hollister, I arranged funding, travel, and lodging for a team of researchers from various countries to meet every year in various parts of the world to share our research results and to chart an ethical course for the future of our work. Our first meeting was in 1995 in Dartington, England, where we established our INIT group, the International Network of Instrumental Transcommunication.

I remember Maggy being in awe when talking about the Technician, who made miracles happen in her small Luxembourg flat and whose wisdom, insight and power seemed almost boundless. Although Maggy was bright and sensitive and opened her heart to most people she met, it was impossible for her to forge a warm, human connection with the ethereal being. To give you an idea, during one of our annual meetings she played a tape-recorded phone conversation she had had recently with Technician. Maggy’s caring and passionate voice seemed out of sync with the perfect, lilting, high-pitched ethereal voice. At one point, Maggy expressed concern about some of the momentous information she’d received from Technician and the impact it would have on certain people’s lives were it to be made public… to which Technician quickly and matter-of-factly replied…

“your lives are like the lives of flies….”

… before reiterating the importance of getting out the truth to humanity.

While that passing comment seems offensive to most of us humans, it was obvious from the recording that only kindness and patience were forming the words. You see, measuring the lifespan of an ethereal being would probably involve hundreds of thousands of years, and from a timeless perspective like that, our human lives would seem as fleeting as a spark in the night. Our grueling day-to-day dramas would seem like tempests in teapots.

So… it was easier for Maggy to get her emotional needs met by confiding in her dear spirit friend Swejen Salter, director of the Timestream Station.

Here, then, are some of the awesome communications that Maggy enjoyed through ITC… while talking to (or about) her ethereal friends.

(Passages in parentheses are my comments. – MM)

    – – – – – begin Luxembourg reports – – – – –

    1992 (phone transcontact)

Maggy: The Technician once told us,

“There are people living among you who are not really human beings.”

He spoke of incarnations of higher beings who can point the way for us. Angele* incarnated to demonstrate spiritual ways. I was told that she was a sensitive child.

(* Angele, or Angie Mreche, was Maggy’s late aunt, a kind, sensitive woman.)

    Swejen: Yes.

    Maggy: The Technician also said,

“Fragments of higher entities incarnate and are born into families without standing out much from other family members. They do, however, have a strong sense of what is right and a reverence for all life.”

    Swejen: Yes.

Maggy: Incarnated higher beings are said to be active in public life.

Swejen: You can recognize them by certain signs and behaviors, but there are people of the human family who are just as spiritually advanced as those not of human origin.

Swejen then repeated what the Technician had told us once before. The higher, non-human beings are not necessarily superior or on a higher hierarchical level than human beings. Humans who have lived on earth repeatedly in the course of their advancement, can become equal to higher beings if they have finished the process of learning.

Technician: (entering the conversation) In this case these humans may become what mankind once referred to as “gods.”

    1988

Technician describes himself as a Gatekeeper between Time and Eternity. Human feelings are alien to him, but he has tried to become familiar with them, making his speech more human, less machine-like. Though he is an advanced being, he never loses patience or interest in his human collaborators. When higher beings form a circle of friends (such as The Seven), they actually come together and form a single light.

    1990 (radio transcontact)

    Technician:

Whenever you decide to cooperate with us, the line on which you move becomes very distinct to me. I can locate you and all those who help you and assist you on your path.

(That “line” was created partly, I believe, because Maggy was a reincarnation of a member of a priesthood long ago who were in contact with The Seven ethereals, on a project called “Sothis.” It was that soul connection that allowed Technician to monitor Maggy’s spiritual self through space and time.)

    1987 (radio transcontact)

Technician, describing himself and his mission:

I am not an omnipotent being but have at my disposal far greater capabilities than a person. Remember, I am not infallible and am still in a process of learning. I am assigned to planet Earth.

While higher spirit beings can see past, present and future, they are often unable to prevent the occurrences of tragedies simply to suit individuals.

(Our INIT group learned this as we tried to sustain resonance among our members. Many troubled spirits with unsettling agendas tried to throw us off-balance, and there was only so much the ethereals could do to protect us from this dark cloud of negativity on both sides of the veil. Technician told us in 1996, through a telephone answering device: Our and your opponents try to prevent this (association) by all means… Even if we cannot prevent the plague, we can control the gravity.)

    1987(radio transcontact)

Technician: “Prayers become important when they come from the heart. Only then can they trigger a special type of vibration which helps us to intercede (in worldly affairs). People who never pray should not force themselves to do so. It would not be of benefit. Prayers need not be spoken out. These are prayers too — when you pet a dog, when you smile at a child, when you are happy about the color of a flower.”

Technician: “There are many planes below me and many planes above me. All these are again separated into other planes.”

ITC Gem 25: Ethereal Beings (Angels), Part 1

2011 January 23 by Mark Macy

Editor’s Note: This is the first of two entries about the finer, more powerful spiritual beings who influence not just our world, but many worlds in many dimensions. A group of seven ethereals calling themselves, simply, The Seven, made miraculous ITC communications possible from the late 1980s through the late 1990s. The main communicator from that ethereal cluster told researchers they could call him “Technician,” since that was his role in facilitating ITC. At other times in history that same being has used other names when interacting with humans. I suspect one of those names was “Archangel Michael,” but that’s speculation. In any case, other members of The Seven were identified to us by such names as Ishkumar, Nsitden, Thfirrin, Mrekklin, and Lagelnev.

Our spirit friends (scientists, researchers, artists, relatives, and others who had died) sent messages and images to researchers on Earth (especially a Luxembourg schoolteacher named Maggy Harsch-Fischbach) directly through various high-tech devices—TVs, radios, computers, telephones…. The most insightful of those communications involved the ethereal beings. Sometimes our spirit friends would describe those elevated beings, and sometimes the ethereals themselves told us amazing things. In this first article, our spirit friends tell us what it’s like working with the ethereals. The next installment will include information directly from the ethereals.

The main communicator in this article is Swejen Salter, the director of the Timestream sending station, the spirit group that made the most prolific ITC communications. I also include messages from the late Thomas of Canterbury (who has become part of an ethereal cluster called “Seth 3”), and an anonymous spirit who worked closely with German researcher Adolf Homes and Friedrich Malkhoff.

In the following reports, spirit messages are in italics. (My comments are in parentheses.) Regular text is from research reports, mostly by Maggy Harsch-Fischbach.

    – – – – – – Begin ITC reports – – – – – – –

1989 – (In one report Maggy wrote of her experiences with and insights into the ethereals):

To advise ITC researchers, nonhuman entities adapt to the physical world, sometimes accepting incarnation to live among us. The Technician has materialized an astral body to show himself to the Luxembourg team, but at these times he is only a part of his whole self. He has access to higher planes (as high as the celestial or sixth plane). Communication with the Earth and astral planes is impossible from these higher dimensions, so he takes on an astral body to be able to communicate.

Beings who incarnate become subject to human limitations, weaknesses and sicknesses. They stand apart from other people for their inner strength, strong will and wisdom. They are usually nonconformists, are misunderstood and do good.

1991 – (In another report Maggy described the role of her spirit friend Swejen Salter):

Swejen is asked to attend hierarchy meetings to report on ITC projects on the earthside and to convey the suggestions and requests of earthside researchers.

1991 – In one ITC message, Swejen herself described her role as a mediator between the higher souls and the earthside ITC researchers:

Seth 3, Ishkumar and others are also “technicians” just like the one you are familiar with. Some of us call them great souls or creators. They live on our plane and yet are really not among us. They can ascend to higher planes and again “bend down” to our level. Their power is almost unlimited and so is their wisdom and goodness. Their entire being is illuminated by understanding and forgiveness. It is impossible to describe the good feeling that overcomes the person who faces them and can speak to them. We seek council with these higher beings to determine the information to send to Earth. The meetings take place in a round room with transparent walls. During the talks the room revolves and lights, colors and shapes of breathtaking beauty pass by on the outside. Soft “music of the spheres” is heard in the background.

1991 – In another ITC contact, Swejen said:

Communication among higher beings is something very special to behold. It is like a reservoir, one big network of communication. Compare it to several computers, except that these are highly evolved, living beings who exchange information as fast as a network of computers. If you speak to one of these beings all other higher beings are also simultaneously informed of this conversation and at the same time are aware of your entire personality. Since they have no secrets from each other, one can only get closer to them by being absolutely sincere. Insincerity is alien to them. Nothing remains hidden in their dimension. You sometimes forget in your physical world that sincerity plays a most important part over here.

1991 – (Maggy received a series of contacts from Thomas of Canterbury, who she said)… has given up the individuality he had on Earth to become a part of Seth 3 (an ethereal cluster). They have fused into one being.

The gist of ITC communication, according to Thomas of Canterbury:

It is like the resurrection of Christ. For those who believe in him, Christ is alive. If you doubt the existence of the dead, they will not be there for you. Every personality is inextinguishable and every existence is important.

(He implies that ITC is like that: Believing with certainty and awe that high-tech communication with spirit beings is possible, a human becomes open to the possibility of receiving ITC contacts. Doubts and fears about the afterlife make ITC impossible for anyone.)

1991 – (Voice message to German researchers Friedrich Malkhoff and Adolf Homes, from an ethereal):

Instrumental Communication between two realities has become possible because of the developments on our side and spiritual cooperation on your side. I am speaking of the cooperation between the stations Hesperingen (Luxembourg) and Rivenich (Germany). Such an example should show that contacts with other dimensions of life are possible if beings want it earnestly. The voice you hear needs no larynx. We are sources of energy. The same energy from which you come. I too am only a creator and yet was created. I practically do not exist for you, although through our existence your life becomes possible. Phrases and symbols have no meaning to us. All thoughts of your world are stored with us in patterns of light for eternity. Be assured, as truly as you are, we are and so are many others who live in other realities. Life is existence without end. This is a law for all that is.

2011 January 16 by Mark Macy

Editor’s Note: For this post I’ve gathered up the remaining bits and pieces of communications about the astral worlds (our paradise afterlife) that came through the Luxembourg ITC station in the late 1980s and early 1990s. I was working closely with the Luxembourg experimenters in the early 90s and published English translations of their reports, distributing them among a small, select group of readers… before we established our international research panel, INIT, in 1995. These messages and their accompanying reflections are, in my view, the most reliable afterlife descriptions you’ll find anywhere on Earth… because they were delivered by our spirit friends directly and unfiltered through our equipment, rather than telepathically through a human medium (which involves filtering by the human mind). Some of the fragments below were published repeatedly in several issues of those early Luxembourg reports because of their importance, and so they may have appeared in previous postings of “ITC Gems” on this blog as well. The main spiritside communicators for these contacts were Swejen Salter, the director of the Timestream spirit group, and Konstantin Raudive, a pioneer in ITC work before his death in 1974. Also, the ethereal being Technician, who has never lived in a physical body. The ethereals have far greater insights than do humans in spirit. The numbers following some of the contacts, such as [88/04, indicate the year and issue of INFOnews in which each contact appeared… in this case issue 4 in 1988. So, here are those early descriptions of the afterlife world that our transpartners inhabit. (Italicized text indicates the actual messages from beyond.)

    – – – Begin CETL report – – –

Raudive says that while electricity is our main energy on Earth, in the spirit world it is consciousness that drives things. Consciousness sends out much finer vibrations than you are able to perceive with your five senses. Clairvoyants have developed other senses. [88/04

Thought creates reality. The higher the vibratory rate, the purer and more loving the reality.

The aim of the spirit world: Spread the pure, wholesome values of the higher planes into the outer (dense, more physical) realms where excessive pain, fear, and violence abound to cause suffering.

Raudive, on the Higher Astral plane (level 4) lowers himself to the middle Astral (level 3) to communicate with Luxembourg.

Raudive realized this during his lifetime when he wrote in Do We Survive Death?, “There must be other laws in the Universe which we cannot exclude from our research.” Many experimenters have come to the same realization today by their own experiences. We cannot therefore explain ITC phenomena with our present scientific understanding. This does not mean we should not try to learn more and understand these laws until we have more advanced technologies and a much more advanced scientific understanding.

Raudive: One should not pull back the deceased egoistically in one’s thoughts because one likes to have them with oneself and can no longer live with them. That is a mistake made by many people, especially those with a child on our side.

Raudive told us that a personal day of reckoning is an exaggerated concept in many minds. In reality, a newcomer to spirit has a period of a few seconds in which a Light being helps him see a rapid succession of his life experiences in living color with the look and feel of pure reality. As you watch yourself throughout the movie it feels as though you are watching someone else and yourself in the same body. The Light being offers occasional remarks and selects certain events in your life to drive home your acts of selfishness, cruelty toward animals, and unfairness on one hand, and your acts of love, kindness and compassion on the other. [88/04

There is a day of reckoning for most of us after we die. Actually, a moment of reckoning. Human ignorance is a common excuse as we see images of ourselves heaping injustices upon our neighbors, bringing pain and death to animals, etc. Most cultures are based on material realities, not spiritual ones, and so the ignorance we derive from that and the pain we cause as a result, are apparently taken into account after we die — as though being human is a mitigating circumstance to our inhumane actions. Spiritual living does not fit into today’s view of the world. Many of us resist the spiritual laws which we know deep-down to be all-powerful and true, but in the end we all comply, whether we do it on Earth or in spirit later. Those who enjoy the most wonderful post-mortem experiences are those who give themselves a head-start here on Earth. [88/03

What punishment awaits those who have mistreated or tortured animals? Technician: You can compare the punishment roughly with a person who is having a big bucket of boiling water poured over his head every two minutes. While burns cannot form on his astral body, the pains are equal to what the physical body would suffer. [88/01

New arrivals from earth are judged not so much by their knowledge but by how they lived their lives. [91/01

Swejen: The River of Eternity stretches for about 100 million km. Millions of former Earth dwellers now live along its banks, along with gnomes, giants and formless beings. [87/12

Swejen died on a parallel world, Varid, in an accident resulting from a battle between dark and light forces. The ITC stations were already in place when Swejen arrived. She’s unsure how and when they were built. Some people and animals arriving there are reawakened as newborns. Most people reawaken as young adults, 25-30 years old. Swejen doesn’t know why. Damaged tissues and bones heal. Lost limbs reappear. Vision is restored to the blind. Hair and skin color remain as on Earth. Damage to the physical body while on Earth does not affect the astral body. [88/04

Swejen Salter: “On the banks of the River of Eternity on the Third Level there are a great variety of people. Some still sit around the campfire as they used to do in their (primitive) earthlife. Others meet in modern halls of congress surrounded by technical equipment. They give lectures about life after physical death. Still others do not even know that they have died.” [88si1

Residents of the third (middle astral) plane are people like us with a body much like ours except composed of subtler, more rapidly vibrating matter. [89/01

Swejen: I have many helpers here. Sometimes I meet people here who do not believe in a life before spirit and yet they help me with my work. [91/01

Swejen: Along the River of Eternity, about 60 percent of each populous area consists of people of the same earth nationality coming from the same time in history. The remaining group includes people of different nationality or time period.

Swejen: People here are very much like they were during their lifetime. Men and women have the same sexual needs as before their death. Since the average age here is 30 years and everybody knows that the sexual organs also serve other functions than reproduction, nobody should be surprised when I say that everything goes on as usual. However, here a woman does not get pregnant. [91/01

Swejen: Over 60 billion people live here along the River of Eternity. It is not always possible to find everyone you are looking for, even for us at Timestream. People go to the groups they feel drawn to. Beings who feel like we do, who have the same views and aims, come together in Group Timestream. They may be of different culture and race. The mental compatibility always wins out. [91/01

Jan (Spirit guardian of ITC researcher Adolf Homes): My astral body is made up of cells which consist of energy. You are questioning how can this happen with a brain that is not nourished by a blood supply anymore. I reply to you that your brain has nothing to do with your soul. Your soul has a multidimensional basis. Once you arrive on our side there is plenty of opportunity to continue advancement on other planes and worlds. Many beings here are confused and do not realize until much later that they are physically dead and have another body. [91/02

ITC Gem 23: The Power of Thought

2010 November 21 by Mark Macy

Editor’s Note: Thoughts create reality. Easy to say; hard to see. While the sensual clatter of a dense physical world reacts slowly to thought patterns, it becomes quite obvious in the subtler realms that reality is formed by consciousness. In the spirit worlds if we concentrate on a tree as we remember it from our life on Earth, a tree will appear. If we think of being with someone, we are there instantly.

While alive on Earth we can overcome the distractions of the five senses by clearing the mind and learning to focus on goodness and love. As our concentration strengthens, the new realities materialize more and more easily within and around us.

Higher beings always think and act with pure sincerity. While such sincerity is almost impossible to possess in a physical world such as ours that is rife with deception and hidden motives, only sincere people can become trustworthy mediums, the sort of mediums that the higher levels are willing to contact.

We live in “complex fields of possibilities” influenced by our free will. Prophecies and predictions can never be accurate in much detail. However, if enough people believe a prediction deeply enough, it can become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Not only will their behavior eventually shape the occurrence on Earth, but their thoughts will immediately start creating that reality in the subtler realms.

The following communications were delivered directly to Maggy Harsch-Fischbach from her invisible friends at Timestream sending station, through her computer.

Swejen Salter, 1991: “The inhabitants of Earth have not only a different view of their world than do those of my home planet, Varid, but also a different physics. For instance, the planet I come from was flat in 600 B.C. It was as flat then as it is round now. The planet has not changed but the spirit of its inhabitants has. The spirit of man, whether on Earth or Varid, is constantly changing. Man attributes this maturing of intellect to advancements in science and to more accurate methods of investigation.”

The Seven Ethereals, 1992: Some of this we have told you before. Your life, beginning with your daily activities, your thoughts, deeds and events you think you have no control over, (I speak of environmental catastrophes, etc.) in the final analysis is being created by yourself but in different dimensions, in dreams and other trance-like conditions when you are your real self.
None of you has to die to be the person you would really like to be. You only have to die because you selected one of many possibilities for yourself. The person who has become panicky and fears death may wish to recall that he has selected his death long before in another dimension.
We cannot explain these psychological processes and the variety of possibilities within the limits of ITC contacts. You can, however, learn from us through your mediumistic and intuitive abilities which you all have but only a few of you use creatively.

Swejen Salter, 1989: If you harbor bad intentions and thoughts you will not be here very long. Such people reincarnate. Most people at first settle in the mid-Astral plane when they cross over, but many have difficulties adjusting… for example, those who misunderstood or rejected the reality of life after death,  those who ignored their deep skills, talents and desires in order to make money, and victims of war and violence.

Timestream, 1991: There is a sort of filter system used in the transmission of photos between dimensions. The filter modifies the sent photos according to the memories, ideas and expectations of the receivers. This causes some pictures to be altered to the point where they are similar to earthside photos.

Eileen Garratt - Eileen J. Garrett (1893-1970) was an Irish medium and one of the most important figures in parapsychology.

A Realpolitik Self-Help Guide cum Spiritual Memoir

Beginning in her early childhood, the world-famous trance medium and grande dame of parapsychology Eileen J. Garrett had numerous encounters with an entity she called the “Noble Stranger.” When she asked his identity one day, this mysterious figure responded, “You may call me Lucifer.”

Call me Lucifer: Dialogues with a Noble Stranger, features Garrett’s writings about her encounters with this Noble Stranger, and reflections on her intellectual “duels with her Devil.”  The book includes extensive verbatim transcripts of Lucifer’s communications with Garrett, together with Lucifer’s Compendium of Guidance.

Though prepared with great care over the course of her life, the book has lain dormant in Garrett’s family archives for decades.  Her granddaughter, Lisette Coly, current President of the Parapsychology Foundation, has now decided that it should be shared with the public as an aid to our spiritual evolution.

The book can be enjoyed on at least three levels: an unflinching psychological self-portrait of a highly cultured, intelligent woman of the last century interrogating her own extraordinary experiences; a long-lost chapter in the history of parapsychology and another piece in the puzzle of Garrett’s mediumship; and perhaps most importantly, a source of thought-provoking wisdom and startling ideas. Whether they originated with Lucifer himself or from somewhere deep in the medium’s subconscious, readers will appreciate these texts for their insight into life’s most pressing spiritual and existential questions.

    Praise for Call me Lucifer.

“Call Me Lucifer is a fascinating account by Irish medium and parapsychologist Eileen J. Garrett of her life-long relationship with a personality that identified itself as Lucifer. Through her conversations with Lucifer – interpreted variably as a separate entity or an aspect of her subconscious – Garrett explored key issues of modernity, such as the Self, the subconscious, sexuality, and spirituality. As such, Garrett’s dealings with Lucifer in many ways parallel those of other mediums and occultists, for example, Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) and his experiences with the ‘discarnate entity’ Aiwass, identified by Crowley as Satan or Lucifer. Call Me Lucifer will be of interest not only to readers with an interest in channeling and parapsychology, but also to students of esotericism and twentieth-century spirituality.”

~ Professor Henrik Bogdan, author of Western Esotericism and Rituals of Initiation and co-editor of Aleister Crowley and Western Esotericism.

“Call me Lucifer: Dialogues with a Noble Stranger is part of a new wave of publishing on the lives and work of leading women in the twentieth century esoteric world whose stories and roles deserve to be recognised. Irish medium Eileen J. Garrett is one such woman and her book is a fascinating account of her experiences with her most important guide and the insights for spiritual development that emerged.”

~ Vivianne Crowley, PhD, Wiccan High Priestess and author of Wild Once: Awaken the Magic Within, and Wicca: A Comprehensive Guide to the Old Religion in the Modern World.

“Call Me Lucifer is of special interest to me, having known not only Eileen Garrett but her daughter and granddaughter as well. This remarkable book resonates with the Eileen who I knew, a woman who was inquisitive, skeptical, reflective, frank, funny, and lusty.  And it demonstrates how many dimensions of the human psyche are still inadequately explored, begging for answers.”
    ~ Stanley Krippner, Ph.D., Co-author, Personal Mythology.

“This is a fast-paced book with surprises throughout. It should, however, be pondered as many of the book’s ideas need careful contemplation. Parts of the book show theosophical influences, elsewhere hints of Gnosticism and Middle Platonism. … Garrett is clearly a free thinker. She talks openly about her experiences of nameless sex, LSD, and distressing visions of deformed hobgoblins. Throughout all this, her charming Devil – the Noble Stranger – Lucifer. Most of the book happens in ‘inner time’ reminiscent of Jung’s Memories, Dreams and Reflections. Overall, this is an interesting exploration of one woman’s personal mediumship.”

~ Susan Leybourne, medium, spiritual teacher and author of The Chaldean Oracles: Origins, Developments and Theurgy in Late Antiquity.

“Psychic phenomena are matter of fact. They occur spontaneously, but perhaps only occasionally, to a large proportion of the general public. For some, psychic experiences occur so frequently that they form an essential thread of the warp and weft of lived experience. But that deep acquaintance does not necessarily lead to deep understanding of the phenomena. Eileen Garrett illustrates this perfectly. Despite a lifetime of rich spiritual experiences and an unprecedented willingness to subject herself to scientific study (a great deal of which she financed herself), she remained perplexed by their ultimate cause and wrestled with different understandings of them. Her description of interactions with ‘Lucifer’ – recounted here – is typically candid, as she oscillates between belief in her contact as an independent intelligent agent and belief that he has emerged from the deepest wells of her own unconscious, perhaps with a dash of extrasensory perception to account for accuracies in the information she received that couldn’t be known by normal means. Communications from the Noble Stranger can be cryptic, perhaps intentionally inscrutable in the manner of a koan that is intended to be ruminated upon rather than resolved, and could reward careful study. Whatever we make of the personality that appears in these pages as ‘Lucifer’, and whatever we each take from his teachings, the publication of this ‘lost’ manuscript provides a valuable insight into the complexities of the psyche of a gifted medium.”

~ Professor Chris A. Roe, Director, Centre for Psychology & Social Sciences, University of Northampton.

    About the author

Eileen J. Garrett (1893-1970) was an Irish medium and one of the most important figures in parapsychology. Despite her apparent psychic abilities, which were subjected to numerous tests by the most prominent researchers of the era.

Garrett maintained a lifelong healthy skepticism, always questioning the nature and meaning of her own extraordinary experiences. Her dedication to the objective, scientific study of psychical phenomena resulted in her establishing the Parapsychology Foundation, which published many books on the subject as well as the International Journal of Parapsychology, and the popular Tomorrow magazine.

Garrett was also something of a bon vivant, rubbing shoulders with everyone from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to Cecil B. DeMille, Aldous Huxley, Salvador Dalí, Robert Graves, Anaïs Nin, and Carl Jung to name but a few. Garrett herself was a prolific author, writing a number of novels as well as books on psychical research and three autobiographies – including My Life as a Search for the Meaning of Mediumship, forthcoming in a new edition from Afterworlds Press

The Exorcism of Gottliebin Dittus: The True Story of the Most Extreme Demonic Possession in History

    Greetings karyn,

In 1840, Gottliebin Dittus moved into a small apartment in Möttlingen, Germany. What followed has been described as the most extreme, most gruesome, and most chilling demonic possession in all history. Mysterious happenings, apparitions, black magic, and horrific physical phenomena of the worst variety, it led to the involvement of Johann Christoph Blumhardt, a Lutheran pastor who not merely documented the case, but performed an exorcism on Gottliebin. Today, his writings are remembered as The Black Forest Exorcism.

"The whole purpose of earthly life is to awaken dormant, slumbering souls to the reality of their existence. Your world is full of living sleepwalkers who go through the day’s activities in a dream. They are not awake, and they are dead to all reality. If you can touch one of these souls and kindle the divine ember so that gradually it is fanned into a living flame, there is no service comparable to that.”

There are some stories so mindboggling, so weird, so utterly out of the norm, that people just shrug them off and give them no heed, seemingly assuming that they are pranks of some kind. The rational mind wants nothing to do with them. Parapsychologists apparently fear that even mentioning them will ruin their reputations. Such is the case with medium George Valiantine, (below) a direct-voice medium during the 1920s and early ‘30s. He may have produced the greatest mediumship ever, but he has gone down in history as nothing more than a fraud. One of the three books written by H. Dennis Bradley about Valiantine, Wisdom of the Gods, was recently reproduced by White Crow Books. As I was asked to write a Foreword and Afterword to the reproduction, I reread it after many years and am still scratching my head.

Valiantine has been discussed in prior blogs here, in those of April 22, 2013, May 24, 2021 and June 7, 2021, all in archives at the left of this post. The most memorable and mindboggling phenomenon was produced during October 1926 when a “voice” came through in a Chinese dialect giving the name K’ung-fu-tzu, while saying that men called him Fu-Tzu, the names now given to Confucius, the renowned Chinese philosopher. The “voice” went on to dialogue with Professor Neville Whymant, a Chinese scholar who is said to have spoken 30 languages and was fluent in that Chinese dialect. The story rates no more than a scoff or a smirk with most people, but those willing to hear the complete story and fully consider the credentials and background of Whymant must certainly have some reservations about completely dismissing it as fraud. Consider also that Whymant attended 11 additional sittings, dialoguing with “voices” in 13 other languages, including Hindi, Persian, Basque, Sanskrit, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian, Yiddish, German and modern Greek.” They all took place at the New York City home of Judge William Cannon, one of the officers of the American Society for Psychical Research.

Whymant also recorded that he observed Valiantine, who was not a trance medium, carrying on a conversation in “American English” with the person next to him while foreign languages were coming through the trumpet. “I am assured, too, that it is impossible for anyone to ‘throw his voice,’ this being merely an illusion of the ventriloquist,” he wrote.

It is even more difficult to believe that Valiantine was a charlatan after reading Wisdom of the Gods and Bradley’s earlier book, Toward the Stars, as well as his last one, And After.

The “Confucius voice” was not the first time a Chinese dialect had come through the trumpets in Valiantine’s direct-voice mediumship. As Bradley, a British businessman and playwright, told in Wisdom of the Gods, on February 25, 1925, Madame Wellington Koo, the first lady of China, was one of seven sitters with Valiantine. He identified her as “Countess Oeitiongham” (sic) apparently her name before her marriage to the president of China and her prior marriage to a British consular agent. Her father, Oei Tiong Ham, was a Chinese-Indonesian business tycoon, and she had become an international socialite, a very interesting one for many years according to my internet search. “When we had sat at least one hour, one of the trumpets was lifted close to the face [of the countess], and a ‘voice’ addressed her in a foreign language,” Bradley wrote, adding that the voice was initially very indistinct and the trumpet fell to the floor. Although the countess recognized the initial voice as a Chinese dialect, it took three more tries before it was loud enough for her to fully understand and carry on a conversation with the “voice.”

The countess later explained to Bradley that the “voice” spoke to her with two dialects mixed, in a way in which no European – even if he were able to speak Chinese – could do. As the countess further explained, one of the dialects was that which her father, who had died the prior year, spoke to her when she was a child, while the other dialect was one he used after she had grown up. The message was said to be one for the countess’s mother and too personal for her to reveal to Bradley.

Two of the guests on March 10, 1925 were Countess Ingegard Ahlefeldt-Laurvig, daughter of the Danish minster to England, and Gonnoske Komai, a famous Japanese poet and artist. Bradley states that Valiantine had never met them before and was not given their names. According to Bradley, a voice said to be the countess’s deceased brother came through in Russian, but she replied in Danish. However, the brother requested that she speak in Russian, and they continued to converse in that language. Another voice came through in Japanese and spoke with Komai, who later told Bradley that the identification of the communicator was uncertain, but he gave certain names and places that were meaningful to Komai and also said that he died by committing hari-kari. Based on that information, Komai had some idea as to who it was.

On March 18, Komai returned for another sitting. After a failed attempt at rising, the “spirits” were able to materialize the voice of Komai’s elder brother, who carried on a conversation with him in Japanese. Komai was told that his mother was also there, but she was unable to communicate. Apparently, the conversation with the brother had mostly to do with his children. Dr. Barnett, one of Valiantine’s guides, broke in and said Japan was preparing for a great war in the air. Komai replied that American is a far greater country than Japan, but Barnett then said that such was true but Japan’s preparation was far greater and more advanced than that of America.

Countess Ahlefeldt-Laurvig returned on April 18 for an individual sitting with Valiantine. “The Countess and Valiantine sat in my study in the daylight, and almost immediately the voice of Oscar (brother of the Countess) came through and spoke to her. The first part of the conversation was carried on in Russian, and then the Countess suggested that it should be continued in French,” Bradley wrote, adding that they spoke for about a quarter of an hour. The countess referred to it as a “marvellous” sitting.

On April 8, 1925, with the very skeptical researcher Harry Price present, Bradley reported that the gramophone which was used to play music and establish harmonious conditions would not work and therefore Miss Lilian Walbrook, one of the sitters, was asked to sing. She sang a number of songs, including “Il Bacio.” Price was taking notes and recorded that at the conclusion of the song, one of the two trumpets rose into the air, approached Miss Walbrook and thanked her in Italian. The “voice” identified himself as Luidi Arditi, an Italian composer who had died in 1903. There was a further exchange of words in Italian between Arditi and Walbrook.

In Bradley’s 1924 book, Toward the Stars, he provided a detailed report on his first sittings with Valiantine at the New Jersey country home of Joseph De Wyckoff, an American lawyer. As a guest of De Wyckoff, Bradley was invited to attend a séance with Valiantine. While very skeptical, he saw it as a means of entertainment and accepted the invitation. Nothing happened for the first 20 minutes and Bradley considered it a very dull show. However, he soon heard a soft and gentle woman’s voice call his name, addressing him as Herbert, his given name, rather than Dennis, the name most people knew him by. It was his deceased sister, Annie. They talked for 15 minutes about family matters and there was no doubt in Bradley’s mind that he was talking with his sister.

On the following night, they again sat for a séance. De Wyckoff’s cook and butler were invited to join the small group. After Dr. Barnett spoke to the group in a loud Scottish accent, Bradley’s sister again spoke. “Her tones were clear and bell-like, her notes were sympathetic and understanding, and were radiant,” Bradley recorded. “How can I describe the indescribable?” Bradley pointed out that his sister mentioned things that nobody else knew about or could have known about. After his sister left, the trumpet floated in front of De Wyckoff’s cook. “Anita! Anita!” the ‘voice’ said. “Si! Si!” Anita Ripoll excitedly responded. “It is Jose! Jose!” the “voice” said. It was the cook’s deceased husband. They carried on a conversation in Spanish which Bradley could not understand.

“I could not follow it, but nobody could fail to understand the feeling. Words tumbled over one another. Sentences joined and overlapped in Latin excitement Neither husband nor wife, apparently, marvelled at their supernatural meeting. These two souls, who had loved each other and probably had never questioned the certainty of an after-life, accepted it as entirely normal.” As De Wyckoff understood the language, he told Bradley that Jose drifted into a dialect that was a mixture of Basque and corrupt Spanish, the dialect of their native home in southern Spain. When Jose was alive in the flesh, he spoke no English and communicated with De Wyckoff in proper Spanish.

Bradley called it the “most staggering event of my life,” causing him to change his whole philosophy of life. “Doubt took flight when faced by an unchallengeable fact and the mind understood in a flash that what had hitherto appeared to be impossible was possible.”

Back in England, Bradley attended a séance at the British College of Psychic Science on February 19, 1924, with Valiantine being the medium. Among other things, he observed a voice address itself to an Australian lady, saying that it was her grandmother. The conversation opened in English and “drifted into German.” Later, the Australian lady’s mother came and also conversed with her in German. The following week, Bradley sat in again and this time heard a conversation between a deceased father and his son in a strange Welsh tongue.

Valiantine was described by Whymant as “a typical example of the simpler kind of country American citizen” and claimed to know none of the languages spoken. Can anyone believe that he secretly learned all those languages, even different dialects and was able to carry on conversations about family matters with different sitters, at the same time being seen speaking in English to someone next to him? In the Confucius case, he would have had to anticipate that Whymant was going to quiz the “voice” about two poems of Confucius and then memorize 15 verses of one of the poems in a Chinese dialect, as well as explain a misinterpretation of another poem – a misinterpretation that had escaped scholars for centuries. And he would have had to be able to speak with an ancient dialect of Chinese to begin with, before switching to a more modern dialect, one Whymant could better understand.

Is it possible that Bradley, Professor Whymant, Judge Cannon, renowned physicist Sir Oliver Lodge, popular journalist Hannen Swaffer, and dozens of other famous people mentioned in Bradley’s books just imagined it all or were hypnotized? Or that they all conspired in a giant hoax? Is there some subconscious factor involved, or a “computer in the cosmos,” that science does not yet understand, one that records voices on earth and somehow feeds them back in a dialogue form at the proper time? Although the original copy of Wisdom of the Gods was written before the fraud charges against Valiantine, none of which involved the voices, the reproduction by White Crow Books has additions that explore those charges. In the end, however, it all leads one to believe that absolute proof is beyond our reach and probably not in our best interest. We need some doubt if we are to effectively carry out the divine plan.
