Chico Xavier talks about spiritual consequences of abortion

Recommended Posts

Hello, I want to share this video that I translated where the medium Chico Xavier talks about family planning and also about abortion and some of its spiritual consequences, according to what various spirits told him and his personal experience.

I find this topic quite interesting as there are many thoughts alleged to have come from higher beings that state that the spirit-soul does not enter the body always at conception.  Indeed it is considered that it is more common for the entity to come and go through out the pregnancy and as time increases in the prenatal state the spirit is inclined to spend more and more time within the womb, although will still have the ability to come and go.

It is reported that many spirits are uncomfortable in the pregnant state and I have read at least one version that says the soul can take up to three days post birth to join the mother. Although those who choose not to go through with the pregnancy may opt to be born sleeping, and or exit at any point in the pregnancy.

I wonder if being so heavily impressed and surrounded with catholicism prior to his works Kardec was influenced in this matter.  Chico too was a pious man.  I find it hard separating the religion from the question.

I guess for me that is one of the questions I would like to learn about when I depart this planet.

By the way, great work Alberto as per usual.

Thanks ..its a complex issue and Chico just touched briefly on the tv show, in books he and other mediums touch that subject with more detaill, telling how after the conception a link its made between the spirit and the mother, but they dont necessarily "enter"  at that moment.

Chico also said that the day perfect ITC its achieved mediums will not longer needed and that will be a good thing because humans transmitt imperfect messages including him.

Also its worth to notice that Chico its only reporting what the spirits that worked with told him and that case with the sterile lady what happened its particular to her...it doesnt mean that all sterile women aborted in their previous lives, because people tend to search for a fit all simple answer to spiritual issues.

And many people tend to do gut answers instead of evidence based form múltiple sources, and if they dont like a information they simply reject it ...I have seen this multiple times from so called "spiritual  persons".

Victor  Zammit speak about this very phenom on his book...

So as we cant go to the afterlife we shouldnt accept or reject all info form spiritual sources but study it and see what is repetable and consistent ( that make sense/fits with other info)

Thanks for the comment !

i just found a free pdf book about an astral traveler that interrogates an spirit about many subjects, its very interesting, and on it mentions the abortion theme and it says the same things the spirits told to Chico:

"But if, for some reason, the mother doesn´t want to have children, but
didn´t take the necessary measures...

Then she will be willing to admit that when she incarnates in subsequent lives, her mother may decide to abort her pregnancy for similar reasons for which she had to do so, because the spirit that aborted as a mother in one life risks being aborted as a baby the next time she is due to incarnate. Alternatively, she might not be able to conceive in a subsequent incarnation, because when she was able to conceive, she didn´t want to make use of this ability to conceive.

This occurs, because the law of cause and effect will confront us with  exactly the same circumstances as those that we have created.

Do you know that a lot of the problems between parents and children are brought about by abortions or attempts to abort? If the incarnating spirits are not sufficiently evolved, they may refuse to accept the father or mother that tried to stop their chance of incarnating and they may
well try to take revenge on them from the spiritual world, influencing
them in a negative way. If they finally do incarnate, the unconscious memory of what they experienced during pregnancy could turn into feelings of animosity towards themselves or the parents who rejected them. They could even stay traumatized and be born with a physical or mental illness."

So as you see Chico its not the only one being told this....you can download the book here:

I share with you a very good movie subtitled to english about all the work that abortion implies forthose on the other side,   because there are 73 millons abortions per year, imagine dealing with that much work...

"Feature film based on the work of Luiz Sérgio, psychographed by Irene Pacheco Machado. Luiz Sérgio is a young man who passed away at the age of 23. On the spiritual plane, he is summoned to write books and transmit his knowledge to his incarnated brothers. For this task, he joins a team of mentors who work to rescue spirits that are on the threshold. Motivated by unconditional love, they seek to rescue all those who need and want help to get out of the inferior conditions they find themselves in."

Karyn,  I thought you might be interested to hear a story that my husband has told.   The details I'm repeating he still remembers clearly.  He remembers becoming self aware at a certain point in the womb.  At that moment, he realized where he was and thought, "Oh no, not this again.  This is so hard."  And at the same time feeling something around his neck and tugging at it.  He doesn't remember the labor or actually being born but remembers the doctor hanging him upside down and that he was crying because of it.  He also remembers them making a footprint and that they needed to redo it because it had smudged.  As a young child, he told his mother about this memory and she confirmed that there was an issue with the umbilical cord and the footprint.

I wonder if he was having second thoughts about his life plan while in the womb! 😉

Hi Andrea,

I would be asking myself the same question.  Yes, I have heard of a few people who remember their birth and womb experiences.  Thank you for adding such a point to the conversation. When I remember the book that has been written about it.  Of course, many have heard of the young boy who recalled his previous history at Pearl Harbour.  Sometimes we have so many questions we can go down so many rabbit holes and still not scratch the surface.
