A Virginia Archives Month Special! In 1938, Hugh Lynn Cayce traveled to New York City with hundreds of letters from people who had experienced psychic phenomena. Radio station WOR broadcast these stories in a program titled "Mysteries of the Mind." The Edgar Cayce Foundation preserves the only known recording of this program in existence, recently digitized by the Northeast Document Conservation Center in Andover, Massachusetts. E.C.F. staff and the Audio-Visual Department of the Association for Research and Enlightenment partnered to bring you this film adaptation using the audio from the original 15-inch studio lacquer discs. This video is part of the state-wide annual Virginia Archives Month celebration, hosted by the Library of Virginia:
