This little device was sold for £9 and comprised a magnetic compass needle, a battery and a buzzer. The assumed electromagnetic field of an UFO would cause a deflection of the needle that closed an electric circuit and activated the buzzer. Your comments are raising the question if there are any structured investigations about the physical anomalies occurring if a UFO encounter is taking place. Is it a magnetic anomaly, a static electrical one, do car engines stop working, is gravity changing, is the flow of time affected?
