Tempo and Pitch Adjustments

Hi,

I know the purists out there, would consider any radical adjustments as these to be sacrilege. I'm too curious not to pick things apart at the sacrifice of my hearing! I've found so many voices layered on top of each other at various tempos and frequencies. This is probably common knowledge, but still wanted to post this. 

The first few seconds is the altered section. The last seconds show the original recording speed.

Hi Tom,

I definitely have experienced layering before, but I haven't heard anything like this.  What do you hear them saying?  Is it that they want you to know something?  It sounds super compressed.  More so than I've ever heard before, and kind of robotic sounding.  Alien possibly?  What was your sound source and set up?

Hi Andrea,

I was recording with an Olympus VN8100 digital recorder. I have to say that during the period that I recorded these, I was very open and connected to a wide spectrum of entitles. ET was definitely on the list and still make their presence known. I really want to get back into Realtime ITC again though, just at square one again!

At the time, I was recording a lot at a nearby nature center at around 12-3AM to minimize surrounding noise levels. Some at home also. I did some recordings using radio sweep but not any of these. I named them with what I think they're saying.

The female compilation is interesting. I isolated the phrases since its a long recording. I hear just a bit, "I hate you" "I envy you". I haven't reviewed these in a longtime. "I found car(?)", was recorded from my car under high tension lines. "Get out of here", was near a large transformer. "goodbye", has my voice saying it first followed by Spirit. "he was here a very longtime ago", is embedded in the singing bowl sound. "I can here heaven", was made with the previous file by another member of ATransC, which I was a member at the time. "bob will pay",

Hate to overwhelm with the files here, but I figured you could choose which ones to review. My Mother, whom I've been the caregiver for, transitioned in her hospital bed in the living room this past Wednesday. So I'm a bit busy still with that to work on other things.

These clips are interesting.  The following is what I can hear.  (Lines 1-4, Columns A-C)

1B  Jim Stanford (this one sounds like someone speaking their name)

1C  I found car

2C I hope your ____ transitions before we lose it

3A  Goodbye/Goodbye (the second goodbye spoken by spirit)(this is a good one!)

3B  I want you guys out of here

4C Bob will pay

At the end of the long female clip (A1) I can hear "bring her up" 4 times at the end of the clip.  I didn't know if you copied it 4x, or if the voice is really insistent about getting (her) up there!

I believe you are getting voices here but the source sound sure isn't my favorite.  It's not easy on the ears!

I know, I had the same problem with my ears. I had to lay off on recording because of it. The point I originally brought up about layered voices is one thing I noted in recording. Many of the background sounds are voices that come out when you work with varying the pitch and tempo on the file. I was at the point of not using any background sound besides the environmental ones. Most were recorded after midnight to minimize those sounds. Later I worked with radio sweep and reverse foreign language for background. I preferred not to use neither though since it can appear to contaminate the recording, especially to the hardcore sceptic..

Its interesting to find what others hear. The file that you mentioned of the female voice, that was one long recording of maybe 5 minutes which I condensed for the sake of posting it. I have many that were personal to me. Bob will pay may have been referring to a Bob that was a close friends husband, who committed suicide at the time. He was suspect of foul play in that event.

That period of my life became one of high strangeness to say the least. I had to ground myself to alleviate all the paranormal activity around me. As I've heard others what have pointed out, when you go back to old recordings. You find nothing, or a completely different phrase being found.

I'd like to work some with real time ITC methods but I'm not that savvy with the technology, software, etc. I've been trying to get some info from the site now and then.

Some good captures, Tom!

I have an EVP which sounded like a deep mechanical growl type noise.  It took months before I thought to play with the pitch.  When I raised the pitch, it was a mans voice saying "No Viva". 

I wonder if it is a matter of experience, talent or skill on the other side in order for them to relay a message in normal human pitch and speed?  Anabela Cardoso has received many messages saying that they exist "outside of time".  If that is the case, than I would image sounding out a word or phrase in the correct order would be difficult.  Maybe that's why some messages and words are backwards?

Yeah I'm amazed at what can be found in these recordings if you mess with them a bit. I figured that since they exist outside of the physical, they're at varying frequencies than us. Transferring information to our realm to devices we use to hear them to top it all. I would think many do so unknowingly by the nature of the phrases, such as ones in a confused state that they appear to be in. But others such as with rio do tempo that Anabella refers to, are intentionally utilizing our devices. Now and then I try radio sweep and have heard it mentioned to turn on the radio and to bring the radio.

I intend on working on real time communication working with white noise for background preferred over gibberish to avoid confusion with phrases being said. One of the last messages I received was, "go back to sleep". I've noticed metaphysical events waining over time from my awakening about ten years ago. At first I repeatedly heard, "you're awake now". I bring this up to point out that the experimenter is obviously a big part in our communications. Now I feel like I'm at square one from where I once was.
