Global Gathering
In response to popular requests we have invited filmmaker Lionel Friedberg, our guest from two weeks ago, to come back and share more stories, this time about what he has learned about (and from) animals. Growing up in Africa, he had many experiences with animals, and with those who protect and those who hunt them. He promises us a rich tangential discussion of his life as a passionate conservationist, vegan, and advocate for animals. He says, "animals are crucial to our spiritual evolution... I think we need to address that, particularly in this day of massive worldwide species annihilation and the horrors of large-scale animal agriculture and ‘factory farms".
